This home was great! The location was central to everything we wanted to do. The beach is everything we expected and just a short walk. Having a wagon to transport our coolers and chairs was a nice touch by the owners. We used the pool on a couple overcast days and on days when we just wanted to do something other than the beach. Beyond the Sea was a very comfortable home. The first floor gives you plenty of rooms for groups to gather while the upper floors allow for privacy. This place was roomy enough that my family of 4 ( five with my daughters boyfriend) all had rooms of there own. On top of that we had friends come to visit for a couple of days. We would positively like to come back to Beyond the Sea and Old Florida Village. Word to the wise ... don't golf at DeFuniak Springs CC....not a quality golf experience. Other courses in the area are a great experience.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners.

This was our second stay at Kerry and Jim's beautiful home in Santa Rosa Beach. The location is perfect with beach access just a quick walk down the street. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We will definitely plan a 3rd trip to stay in your lovely home.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Beyond the Sea was the perfect place to spend a week with our family. The house is spacious and comfortable with enough room to spread out and relax. We also enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The streets were tree lined and paved which made for lovely morning and evening walks with our dog. The 2 pools were also a nice option when we chose to not go to the beach but still wanted to swim. Kerry, the owner, was a dream to work with and very responsive to all of our questions. We hope to return again to "Beyond the Sea"

We just returned from our awesome vacation. The cottage is very cozy and clean and the neighborhood is so cute! We rented bikes from Gidgets which was a really great way to see the town and get to the beach. We had a ball. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

VACATIONS by Jenna Wright.....They are great when you want to be alone with your husband or family. In my case its family. Every year we go to Florida. My family has a house in Florida, so when we need a break from Indiana we go down there. Our house is at the top of Florida. Its called Santa Rosa Beach. It is so beautiful down there. There are alot of things you can do. Shopping, beaches and my favorite is the food places. Most of the time we are at the beach, by our house which is a seven minute walk or we are by the pool, three houses away from our house. The beach water is so clear you can see everything.But the best part about the beach is when it is night time; the sunset is so beautiful. OK, enough about the beach, now about our house. My mom pretty much got the house for her birthday not quite two years ago. My mom designed how she wanted it to look and it looks amazing. In our tower room we can see a little big of the Gulf. That year was a very good year for my mom. Mom rents the house out to people. She likes doing that. But the best part of going to Florida is that we can all be there and spend time as a family. So if you need a break from things, call my mommy (hehe). We don't get to go all the time, but when we go its just nice to relax after a long car ride. The outside of our house is aqua, lime green, white and yellow. The inside first floor is plain but the bedrooms aren't. My room is lime green, Julia's is yellow orange, Josh's is ocean color blue and Lauren's....I'm not sure. But that's all, we love our house, the best time of year according to me is March - November. We went down last August and it was perfect. It's not too hot and not cold, just perfect.

My stay at Beyond the Sea was perfect! The house was fully stocked with anything that we might need and there was plenty of room to relax and spread out. It was located in a great neighborhood that had 2 pools and had paved roads for walking, riding bikes or scooters. The beach was either a short walk or quick car ride away. The water and beach were beautiful. There were bathrooms/showers located right at the beach entrances. This was my first experience with VRBO and I was not disappointed. Kerry was the best to deal with! I was very satisfied. Thank you!!

Jim and Kerry Ann: We couldn't leave without putting our 2 cents in! What a blessing your place has been to our family! We have many wonderful memories that will always be remembered. Wow!! Beyond the Sea was the perfect home-away-from-home for our family vacation!! We were there with 2 couples, 1 single adult and 3 young children and it was wonderful! The house is our favorite (out of 5) that we've ever stayed in the Seagrove area. And Santa Rosa is the perfect family vacation spot. The beach access (easily within walking distance, but lots of room for parking if you drive) had covered picnic area, showers and restrooms and also has 2 lifeguards right at the entrance!! And the two pools were so nice and never crowded. Kerry Ann was wonderful to work with and I'm sure we'll be visiting Beyond the Sea again soon!!

The 'Beyond the Sea' was perfect! We had a great time at the pool and beach. Neither was crowded the entire time we were there. The water was perfect the entire time and the area around the house is so quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend stopping at The Smiling Fish Cafe in Gulf Place. The grouper sandwich is awesome! Thanks again, Kerry Ann, I'm sure we'll return!

The rental was wonderful! We could not believe the value. A large comfortable home away from home best describes Beyond The Sea! It is the cutest place we have used after eight summers staying in Santa Rosa. There was a small video store in the downstairs entertainment center! The pool was ultra clean just feet away and never crowded. We really enjoyed lazy walks down to the beach. The only drawback was resisting the tempting smells from Goatfeathers restaurant on the way! Old Florida Village is really great for the entire family. You will think you rented a house in Andy's Mayberry. Bring the bikes and scooters! You will not be disappointed. Mike

Kerry Ann: Thanks you! The house was great! We had friends stay a couple of doors down and they were jealous of your house! The kids, their friends, our sisters and us had a great time. Spent time deep sea fishing, at the pool and beach, went crabbing, took a sunset dolphin sail, went to Panama City Beach and did a lot of relaxing. We've been renting homes through out the country for several years. Yous is definitely one of our favorites (probably only topped by the log cabin in the mountains in Estes Park). Thanks again - wishing you continued success with your rental.
