    12/19/11 - 12/29/11 This was our [] first time in Maui and we really enjoyed ourselves ! "Da Beach House" is the best for surf board rentals ! Surfed a few days, snorkeled with the fish & turtles (Black Rock was the best location) and drove up Haleakala. Lahaina Grill has AWESOME food ! We will definitely be back !

    4-17-11 to 4-24-11 ~ We visited this lovely island from our home in Northern California. We really enjoyed Hana, Haleakala, Kimos, Bubba Gumps, and malasadas at Zippy's near the airport. The sunsets here were lovely ! We really enjoyed watching the turtles off the deck here. We also saw whales and dolphins on our Pacific Whale Foundation trip. Thank you for a lovely stay ! ..[]

    4-3-11 - our week here at Hale Ono Loa was awesome we loved the sunsets over the ocean and the whale action. Had beautiful weather and ventured out to attend the old Lahaina Luau and also a snorkel trip on the "Pride of Maui" loved seeing the turtles ! Thanks for the memories.

    We rented the condo for 9 days during our honeymoon and were completely satisfied. The unit is perfectly clean and organized. They provide all of the kitchen equipment and utensils as well as towels. They give you a parking pass so you can park for free. There is no air conditioning but that is not necessary, between the trade winds and fans we were perfectly cool (and we love air conditioning). The view is spectacular. You are right on the ocean front. You can see sea turtles in the morning and apparently you can see whales during whale season (we missed it). The area is perfect. It is a 10 minute drive from Lahaina where there are lots of amazing restaurants, shops and activities. There is a health food store, coffee shop and fish market within walking distance. It is a few minutes from Kaanapali beaches and about 35 minutes from the airport. The only downfall is that you do not deal directly with a person at any point. All transactions are done via email and snail mail. Do not pay late or you might lose your reservation. All condo info is sent via mail, however there was no problems getting there or getting into the place.

    Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    This is excellent for our stay. It is verything full mark. The only thing disadvantage is there was no Internet access.

    Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    June 4th - 12th, 2010 We were here for our wedding + honeymoon. The condo was an excellent location to the beach we're we got married + to our families. The view from the condo is unbelievable (..). One day we even got to swim w/ the turtles (12Noon - 3pm) off the reef just off the rocks ! Thank you for the cooler - we used it everyday !

    june 2010 We spent 8 nights in this wonderful condo. The view is fabulous and sunsets are awesome. Lots of extras in the condo so we didn't really have to buy anything. All the dishes,, pots etc were all top noche. the pool is right below the room but no noise. We were able to snorkel with sea turtles just off the beach area on a small reef. Well worth it Highly recommended.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    We enjoyed an extraordinary week in Maui and it was great to come "home" to this condo at the end of our day. It was comfortable and full of amenities. It's not fussy, there is no resort traffic to compete with, and it's close to anything you'd like to do in Lahaina. Plus, it was just all-around pleasant -- the other residents/guests were polite and welcoming. The quirks of the condo (someone loves their label maker, everything is labeled! Or tied down (which in the fantastic breeze -- good idea!) gives it a sense of humor while making it completely easy to get around. Every morning we saw sea turtles in front of the property and througout the afternoon we saw rainbows, it was a true hawaiian experience. The unit owners were easy to work with and the entire experience was hassle-free.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

    June 23-27, 2008 I am amazed at how fast our time on Maui has come to an end. This is our 3rd trip to Maui, but definally, we will be back. Thanks for the blessing of this condo.     Wow! We had a wonderful stay at this oceanfron suite. The views of the ocean and the outer islands were amazing, as was the sunset. The unit does not have air conditioning, but this was not a problem at all. The trade winds every day and night were excellent. As you walk into the suite, you notice the amazing view, through the wall to wall sliding glass doors. The suite is very beautiful and comfortable. We hope we have the opportunity to stay here again.

    May 8 to 18th 2008. Wow! Ten days in Maui is not enough ! For this laid back Canadian family Hane Ono Loa was the perfect home base as we ventured around the island checking out all the beaches each with its own gifts and memories. Our children fell asleep to your wonderful Hawaiian Music mix every night and it was a wonderful place to wake up in on Mother's day where I got fresh local flowers, great coffee and yummy fruit and pancakes.

The black sand Beach on the Road to Hana was great and we all loved snorkeling on the Mellow Beach with the great coral reef east of Lahauiha along the highway - what a great find !     May 7 / 08 A fantastic vacation - hoping to be back as early as February. Since everyone eles has made the obvious comments about the view and the turtles - we thought we would reccomend a couple of activities to your guests: Trilogy Catamaran Sail/Snorkle ! (awesome experience) South Pacific Kayak/Snorkle (the best tour ever!) The condo was perfect -all the luxury with a great beachy vibe ! Cannot praise the experience enough ! Thank you !

    May 27 - June 3 2007 Hale Ono Loa #415 has been the perfect spot to celebrate our 2nd anniversary / vacation. The view is spectacular, the turtles were friendly, and every morning we were greeted by the gecko & the birds. I hope every one enjoys this special spot as much as we've had. Enjoy !

    May 26, 2007 This is our 13th wedding anniversary (Thanks to you for sharing your wondrful condo, it was our lucky 13th !) The view, !! turtles, sunsets, listening to the surf morning & night, nice neighbors..[] made us feel like home. We both were able to unwind & relax before we head back to our busy lives.     May 18, 2007 Our stay here in Lahaina has been perfect and we couldn't think of a better place to stay and enjoy it. This is our 5th wedding anniversary and its been the trip of a lifetime. Sitting on the balcony + enjoying the view has been my favorite part . . . along w/ the Luau, snorkeling and sitting on the beach ! Thank you for the lovely condo. We can't wait to come back.     May 11, 2007 What a perfect spot for all of our activities. Enjoyed snorkeling at various spots in the area, trips into Lahaina for dinners and shopping, and surfing every morning for Jim at local breaks. Even when we didn't go anywhere it was nice to just sit and enjoy the beautiful view. We will definitely recommend the place to others. Now we're off to Hana for a few days before heading home.

    Feb 3, 2007 Well, we're off to Kauai for a week. We love the place, especially the view !! The weather was a little iffy, but we saw several packs of whales from the lanai. We would definitely stay here again.

    9/17 The swell has built up each day wev'e been here, lulling us to wake each day anew. And what shall we do today? Snorkel or surf? Maybe both with a side of hiking & exploring. Great place & the locals down below gave us thumbs up for locating a great place within a beautiful section of the West Coast.

    On September 11, 2006 I sit on your beautiful lanai and see I am the first to write in your book. My boyfriend Jeff and I (Julie) have greatly enjoyed our week stay in your beautiful condo. The sun is about to set and we don't want to leave tomorrow.
