A very private setting, yet only a short walk to the best part of the beach on the island. This beautifully decorated home is a cheerful respite from a day spent on the beach! Relax on the rear deck in complete privacy. Fripp Island is only three miles long so everything is close by. We have two golf courses, Ocean Creek being open just seven years is a Davis Love signature course, and the other course called Ocean Point, is a true ocean/links type course . Both will test your skills, especially if the winds pick up. Ten tennis courts which are a short walk from our house; a great recreation program for the kids, rental golf carts, fishing boat rentals, and several pools make Fripp a family delight. Many people come to Fripp to just relax too. Amenity cards are available to purchase.

Dear all, Thanks a lot for the great time we had on fripp island! It was one of the best vacations we ever had. Even though we had to handle the water problem it all went fantastic! The beautiful house of the Nelson family at pompano 707 was a terrific home for our relaxing holidays. We are already planning to come back as soon as we can! We will let you know! ;-) Thanks again to all of you and the Nelsons!!! Anne, Martina, Chris and NormanOwner response: I just learned that we had not responded to this comment from a guest looking to rent our home this summer. I apologize for not recording a response immediately. Since it has been a year, I had to go look up the problem. It was not a specific problem to the house, but rather some equipment had taken out the water supply to the entire island for a few days. A crane that was working on the bridge fell into the river and broke the water supply pipe. It was a difficult issue and I appreciate Norman's flexibility in dealing with this type of interruption. We were booked solid last summer with no further problems.
