Our family really enjoyed our stay at this comfy home. Its solitude and being away from it all is great if you don't mind being off the beaten track a bit. It is conveinent to several attractions and national parks --about 1 hour from Zion and two hours from Bryce Canyon, or Lake Powell. The Grand Canyon North Rim is also available in late spring and the summer months. If you have a 4 wheel drive you are going to have a great time going off road to some scenic areas. (try the Smithsonian Butte byway-- beautiful views of the Zion valley and end up at the little ghost town of Grafton; also the back road up to Coral Pink Sand dunes is nice as well--we did it in our 2 wheel drive van, but don't recommend it if the roads are muddy at all). We hiked at Zion and Bryce, we biked for a day in Zion after renting bikes in Springdale and rode horses there as well. We rode ATVs with a guide in Hurricane valley and had a lot of fun. We toured the Glen Canyon dam at Lake Powell and visited the Antelope slot canyons on the Navaho Indian res. near Page, Az. On an off day when it snowed on us a bit, we visited Pipe Springs Nat. Monument on the Kaibab Indian Res. nearby. This place is great for familes that want to keep busy, enjoy sightseeing and traveling around the red rock area of So. Utah and Northern Az. You won't have the convience of a grocery store or fast food places nearby, so stock up in St. George or Hurricane before arriving. If you forget or need something you can always get it when you go through town on the way to Zion. We cooked several meals in this well appointed kitchen that has everything you need. It was nice having 4 bedrooms as well, each very tastefully decorated with a different theme (my daughter loved the retro room with its purple accents). As my kids said "wow dad, this was the best vacation ever!" So go enjoy yourselves and have fun!
Owner response:Thanks Lee We are very happy that you all had a great time and enjoyed the home. Next time you want to stay remind me that you stayed and I will give you a discount. Kim

The house is lovely, with all those little touches that show it's someone's home rather than merely a vacation rental. We were very comfortable and the owners were really nice, telling us about great places to visit. The list of amenities is long and we were very comfortable and happy during our stay.

We love the place! It is a home away from home! Everything is here that we need. . Beautiful views as well. We are here with our family from France. We have been to Zion, Bryce, Pink coral dunes, Pipe Springs and we are planning on going to the Grand Canyon from here. We love it here but wish it could be a bit warmer, but you can't have it all. I would reccomend this house to anyone. Thank you to Kim and Michel

we had the most wonderful time. Your house is just lovely-so great, so comfortable. We liked the sand dunes, found a great trail behind Colorado City, and had a spectacular day in Zion. The trees are so beautiful right now in their springness. Thank you, we will come again for sure.

We really enjoyed our visit, the rental is very homey and allowed us to truly relax. Our kids 5 and 3 used the tub as their own swimming pool and had a great time. We went to Zion 3 times, a memorable amazing experience. It was nice to have all the comforts and amenities of home and to be able to cook serveral meals here. Thank you
