I stayed here for a long weekend with my wife and two small children. This is a beautiful home located in an excellent part of Boulder. The house is comfortable and clean, and has a great kitchen and backyard area with a grill. Robbie, the owner, was extremely nice and quickly responded to any questions. I left my jacket behind and Robbie kindly offered to ship it to me. One tip to anyone who stays here - there is a hard to find switch that covers the 'ceiling' windows in the master bedroom (ask Robbie where it is when you arrive). Closing these shades will make it much easier to sleep in the morning. One note of caution to people with babies - there is an open laundry chute in the bathroom attached to the master bedroom that could fit a small child. We simply kept the door closed, but please be aware of it. Thanks! -CharlesRecommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My husband and I have been to Colorado various times, and stayed at various locations. The farmhouse we stayed at this visit was charming, updated and very well stocked. It met all of our needs. The location was fabulous; very short distance to Pearl Street and several hiking trails at walking distance. Our host was very accomodating and this is a place we would like to return to, but for a longer stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

We were able to stay at this lovely home for 2 weeks during the holidays. It was great. We could walk to dinner or cook at home. Everything was clean and neat. Rob is always there to help. I have two dogs, and they enjoyed the space, and the trails near by. I would suggest this property to anyone, and I plan on using it again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My husband, two of our children (aged 25 and 17) and I spent a week in March at 207 Pearl. I absolutely loved the house. It has loads of character (being built in the mid-1800's), but with a kitchen and baths that are tastefully modernized. The master bedroom is amazing. The location is ideal, on a quiet end of Pearl St. but just a few blocks from the many restuarants and businesses of the busy part of Pearl. Rob was the perfect host, gave us our privacy but was available when we needed him. I would highly recommend 207 Pearl to anyone spending time in Boulder.Did you find this review helpful? Just rented this property last weekend 9/12-16/2007. It was immaculate, charming, beautiful, convenient to everything, lots of room for 6 for a family reunion. It was a great value, as standard hotels were the same rate, with less amenities. I was very impressed at the conveniences incorporated into a 140 year old home!Did you find this review helpful? My wife and I stayed at the "Stone House" in Boulder for a month long stay visiting grandchildern, and found the house and owner very accommodating. The location is absolutely outstanding with it's walking proximity to Pearl street attractions. The owner did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I would absolutely recommend!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My family (2 adults, 2 small children) were the first renters at 207 Pearl and we highly recommend this property for folks interested in a stay in Boulder. We found many positives: nice furnishings/comfortable, outstanding location (easy access to the creek path, playground (for kids), trails and Pearl Street) as well as the standard house vs hotel conveniences(washer/dryer, full kitchen, parking right at the house, etc). The farmhouse has been very well-done, combining the old stone of 100+ years with modern kitchen and baths, hardwood floors and even remote controlled skylights. The owner made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile - for example, without my asking, he purchased a baby gate and outlet covers when he heard we had an infant. We've done short-term vacation rentals in other towns before (Santa Fe, Charleston, etc) and found this to be a top-notch property and choice. Scott M.Did you find this review helpful?
