Little Palms Villa is a well equipped home furnished tastefully in a Caribbean style with a heated, south facing pool overlooking a pretty lake. Many upgrades to the villa have been recently completed in 2011. We provide a cable 'HD' connected digital wide screen TV and free high speed internet are installed to add to the comforts. The home feels cosy and restful as most of the furniture and furnishings have been selected over time by ourselves from local suppliers to aim for a leisurely style of living for our guests.
Situated in the exclusive residential development of Sabal Harbour, our villa is a short walk from the many communal facilities offered for the free use of guests. These include a large heated pool, two floodlit tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, and a safe play area for children, alongside a large field for ball games.
Within a short drive are many eateries and restaurants, Publix and Walmart supermarkets, Blockbusters and Bank ATM. We are next door to a fine Golf Course and Country Club, which welcomes visitors to play and dine.
A 30 minute drive from Sabal Harbour are some of the finest beaches in Florida. Our favourite is the world famous vibrant coastal town of Siesta Key that offers safe bathing in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico from its pure quartz beach shores. Closer still are the beaches of Anna Maria Island, Longboat and Lido Keys and Sarasota Bay. Sarasota City has many shops, theatres and restaurants to offer and St Armand's circle on Lido Key is famous for it's upscale shops and dining.
Close to the coast but also 10 minutes from the interstate, our Villa is well placed for exploring the surrounding area. Some attractions you may wish to visit are Ellenton Mall which is a large outlet mall 20 minutes away, Siesta Key town and beach 30 minutes away, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Water Park 45 minutes away, St Pete's and Clearwater beaches 40 minutes away, and Orlando Theme Parks a 90 minutes drive from us.
Many championship golf courses are located within a 30 minute drive. Try a different course everyday in the sunshine!
The villa is fully air conditioned and heated, with ceiling fans. The living room has a three and a two seater sofa, rattan coffee table, side tables, side-board and TV armoire.
The 'HD' Widescreen digital cable TV and DVD use a Bose sound system. Tall rattan stools are placed at the breakfast hatch. The dining room has a 6 seater dining table and chairs, sofa, rattan chair and foot stool, and long rattan cabinet with sound system above. This cabinet contains nearly 100 novels to choose from when relaxing.
The kitchen is an eat-in type with seating for 4 at table. Kitchen has large cooker, microwave,new large side by side fridge freezer with ice bar, dishwasher and double sink with waste disposal. New 'Corian' counter tops have been installed to the kitchen and breakfast bar.There is a full selection of equipment and utensils and a new 72 peice stoneware china set along with plenty of plates and cups, glasses etc for outdoor dining.
The kitchen overlooks living room, pool and lake. There is a washer and dryer in a separate room off hallway.
Bedroom 1 has King bed with deep pillow top mattress, bedside cabinets with lamps, LCD TV on dresser and stereo sound system, long walk- in dressing room, en-suite toilet and shower room with double sinks and hollywood mirror. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed again with a pillow top mattress and bedside cabinets with lamps and wardrobe plus LCD TV wall mounted. Bedroom 3 has two single beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, and wardrobe plus new flatscreen TV with DVD player. and home theatre system connected to an XBox 360 with 4 handsets.
These rooms share a second bathroom with full size bath with shower over, water closet and sink with hollywood mirror. Both bathrooms have hairdryers and shaving points.
There is a Double car garage with electrically operated door.
Our villa is beside a lovely lake with palm trees and has a fully screened south facing heated pool. The pool deck has seating for 6 at the table, sun bathing and seating areas plus a new full size stainless steel gas BBQ. Above the table is an adjustable ceiling fan with light. The pool can be illuminated by an underwater light at night. The deck floor is tiled and the walls painted to create a wonderful eating environment. A full dining set is provided along with a table lamp and a stereo cd/radio, all for outdoor use.
A removable child safety net is set up for your use.
A digital Telephone with FREE calls to U.S. and Canada is provided in the lounge.
FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET connection (24 meg )is provided for your use and the full 1080i HD digital T.V. has On Demand service to pause,rewind or tape live T.V.(Sky Plus U.K. equivalent).
Cots, Bikes and many other items for a great vacation can be hired from our friendly local management agent.

Why the Owner Chose Sabal Harbour
We visited Siesta Key for the first time on January 1st 2000, fell in love with the area and decided to try and own a property as near to there as we could one day if possible. We eventually bought in nearby Bradenton and find the location of our villa perfect for us to visit the wonderful barrier islands and beaches to the west in around 30 minutes by car. We can visit Busch Gardens and Tampa City in an hour to the North using the I-75 located just a few minutes from the home.
Sabal Harbour itself is a very friendly community sitting close to great restaurants, shops and cinemas etc and we find the area still appears to be thriving even during this long reccession.
The Unique Benefits at this villa
Our villa overlooks a lovely lake, is within walking distance of a fine golf club and is on a peaceful community but just minutes to lively commercial areas.
We have fitted out our home inside with the latest flatscreen televisions, DVD,s and sound systems for enjoyable evenings in, and have also created a nice tiled dining area outside on the lania deck to enjoy cooking on the BBQ beside the pool. Perfect.
