Little Palms Villa is a well equipped home furnished tastefully in a Caribbean style with a heated, south facing pool overlooking a pretty lake. Many upgrades to the villa have been recently completed in late 2007. Cable'HD'connected digital widescreen TV and free high speed internet are now installed to add to the comforts. The home feels cosy and restful as most of the furniture and furnishings have been selected over time by ourselves from local suppliers to aim for a leisurely style of living for our guests.
Situated in the exclusive residential development of Sabal Harbour, our villa is a short walk from the many communal facilities offered for the free use of guests. These include a large heated pool, two floodlit tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, and a safe play area for children, alongside a large field for ball games.
Within a short drive are many eateries and restaurants, Publix and Walmart supermarkets, Blockbusters and Bank ATM. We are next door to a fine Golf Course and Country Club, which welcomes visitors to play and dine.
A 30 minute drive from Sabal Harbour are some of the finest beaches in Florida. Our favourite is the world famous vibrant coastal town of Siesta Key that offers safe bathing in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico from its pure quartz beach shores. Closer still are the beaches of Anna Maria Island, Longboat and Lido Keys and Sarasota Bay. Sarasota City has many shops, theatres and restaurants to offer and St Armand's circle on Lido Key is famous for it's upscale shops and dining.
Close to the coast but also 10 minutes from the interstate, our Villa is well placed for exploring the surrounding area. Some attractions you may wish to visit are Ellenton Mall which is a large outlet mall 20 minutes away, Siesta Key town and beach 30 minutes away, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island Water Park 45 minutes away, St Pete's and Clearwater beaches 40 minutes away, and Orlando Theme Parks a 90 minutes drive from us.
Many championship golf courses are located within a 30 minute drive. Try a different course everyday in the sunshine!
The villa is fully air conditioned and heated, with ceiling fans. The living room has a three and a two seater sofa, rattan coffee table, side tables, side-board and TV armoire, 'HD' Widescreen digital cable TV, DVD, video, and rattan stools at breakfast hatch. The dining room has a 6 seater dining table and chairs, sofa, rattan chair and foot stool, and long rattan cabinet with sound system. The kitchen is an eat-in type with seating for 4 at table. Kitchen has large cooker, microwave,new large side by side fridge freezer with ice bar, dishwasher and double sink with waste disposal. New 'Corian' counter tops have been installed to the kitchen and breakfast bar.There is a full selection of equipment and utensils. The kitchen overlooks living room, pool and lake. There is a washer and dryer in a separate room off hallway.
Bedroom 1 has King bed with deep pillow top mattress, bedside cabinets with lamps, LCD TV on dresser, long walk- in dressing room, en-suite toilet and shower room with double sinks and hollywood mirror. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed again with a pillow top mattress and bedside cabinets with lamps and wardrobe plus LCD TV wall mounted. Bedroom 3 has two single beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, and wardrobe plus Digital TV with DVD/Video player. These rooms share a second bathroom with full size bath with shower over, water closet and sink with hollywood mirror. Both bathrooms have hairdryers and shaving points.
There is a Double car garage with electrically operated door.
Our villa is beside a lovely lake with palm trees and has a fully screened south facing heated pool. The pool deck has seating for 6 at the table, sun bathing and seating areas plus a new full size stainless steel gas BBQ. Above the table is an adjustable ceiling fan with light. The pool can be illuminated by an underwater light at night. The deck floor is tiled and the walls painted to create a wonderful eating environment. A full dining set is provided along with a table lamp and a stereo cd/radio, all for outdoor use.
A removable child safety net is set up for your use.
A digital Telephone with FREE calls to U.S. and Canada is provided in the lounge.
FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET connection (7 meg )is provided for your use and the full 1080i HD digital T.V. has On Demand service to pause,rewind or tape live T.V.(Sky Plus U.K. equivalent)

We spent many days on the beaches from Siesta Keys along to Anna Maria Island and, on a couple of occasions, watched the sunset while sipping cocktails and having a meal at 'The Sandbar'. Time to send you a short feedback. We had a wonderful time at your villa.We found the villa spacious, very clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything we could ask for. Our kids (9 and 5 )years loved the pool and the X-Box console. Getting around is easy, theres plenty of retaurants and shopping within a short drive. We went to the different beaches and we liked all of them. White sand and clean, warm and most of the time the calm sea made us swim, play and relax there for hours. Tropicana field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, up in St. Persburgh is a 30 minute drive away. We enjoyed some baseball games up there. We also went to Disney World in Orlando, 90 minutes each way. So many impressions we got and it was always nice to get back to 'little palms villa' after our trips. Thank you for giving us the opportunity of staying at your beautiful home. Great time was had by all. Howard, We just got back from Florida last night and I wanted to let you know that we had a great time. Thank you for the villa. It was great. We spent all our time by the pool which was fabulous.There were terrible thunderstorms but they all came at night and the weather was great during the day. We went to Mixon's to get our orange juice and travelled around looking for good espresso. We took your advice and went to the beach-Siesta Keys-where we built sandcastles and walked in the salt water. My son said he could see Mexico. He's only 4!. Thank you again!We really enjoyed our time. You are so lucky to have this very nice place to vacation in. It was such a relief to open the door and see so much beautiful space. Awesome holiday! Well where do we begin! We had a really great time at the Villa and didn't want to come home! Mind you the weather had a lot to do with that of course! We left Toronto early on Wednesday morning, in a raging snow storm. Landed in St Petes in lovely sunshine and warm weather. Got our rental van and headed for Bradenton. The office was most pleasant and we got the garage opener and headed to the Villa. Did some shopping on the way. All your directions were great and we were able to find the stores easily. How thrilled we were when we got to your home. We were all so amazed at how lovely it was. My mum and Aunt were with us and they loved that everything was so handy and all on one level. We were really pleased with the master bedroom- so much space and such a comfortable bed. I have no negative comments about your home, lovely tasteful furnishings and every convenience. The weaher was great while we were there so most mornings were spent by the pool soaking up the sun.We went to Anna-Mara Island and another day took a boat cruise from Sarasota. saw wild Dolphins which was interesting. It was four sad people who left on Wednesday morning. Again Thank you so much for the pleasure of staying in your home. We arrived late because of flight problems out of Edmondton and debated about staying closer to Orlando that first night but pressed on to your Villa. It was comforting to open the door to such a nice, welcoming place. The details you provided, both prior and after our arrival were excellent and the Villa is spacious, well supplied, well kept and in a good location. Our vacation in Florida was special in large part because of Thor's organisation and Little Palms Villa played a large part in making our winter get-a-way grand.
