Located on a quiet, picturesque half acre lot with golf course views on sought after Devils Knob. Winter views of the Valley to the West and sunrise to the East. Located on Devils Knob Loop - the center of everything.
Just two minutes by car to the Devils Knob Club House, the tennis pavilion (12 hartrue courts and four indoor courts), the ski center and the Mountain Inn. Make reservations for many of the superb spa services in a beautiful, newly built, full-service spa! Wintergreen offers many children's activities including daily programs, rock climbing, trampoline/bungee jumping, tubing hills and now, the new Zip Line! Make reservations for these features early!
Our house has an open cathedral ceiling to loft above. Dining room table seats eight comfortably. Decks galore - watch the golfers go by and enjoy the mountain air. In the Winter, the 16th fairway is a long, beautiful sledding run!
The house has new mattresses in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, new furniture in the living room and new stainless steel appliances. It's a very comfortable house! Please look at reviews for recent feedback from our guests.

This charming home beat our expectations and provided a wonderful rest stop for our party of "leaf peepers". Everything we could have possibly needed was provided and the location was perfect for our plans! Our fur babies enjoyed romping on the fairway and got to meet new friends who were also staying in the area. On our next trip to the area we will definately want to stay here again. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your house. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be repeat renters. Best features: parking area directly in front of the house and no stairway to the front door; spacious back deck provides good views of 16th fairway and is well equipped with comfortable chairs; combo living room/dining room attractive and cozy; kitchen layout convenient, all appliances in excellent condition, and well-stocked with utensils; master bedroom roomy and queen bed very attractive; central HVAC and digital thermostat worked like a charm; laundry room location is ideal to easily stow boots, packs, coats, etc. When we arrived the house was clean, the beds were made, and the bathrooms fully stocked with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper.

Our stay was just perfect for what we needed and we would love to go back again. The owner is very organized and thought of everything. The area is beautiful. It was great to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax. The home is pet friendly and my rescue dog was at ease too! She is usually fearful of everything. Wish I were there right now!

We spent a few days this past week in this lovely house.Our family truly enjoyed ourselves! Every morning we would sit on the deck and drink a cup of coffee while watching the golfers .Then we would take our children to Discovery Ridge or the Lake for a full day of fun.There is so much to do and this rental is the perfect place to relax! The owner is wonderful and is always available.We are looking forward to renting again next summer.

What a great ski house this is. Just minutes from the slopes, easy access to everything. This house isn't missing anything. Our children loved their private quarters upstairs, especially the spiral staircase that took them there! Our dog loved romping on the golf course with several other dogs in the neighborhood. Don't forget fixen's for S'mores in the wood burning stove!

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and coziness of your home. We felt like we had most of the comforts of home, and everything was in fine working condition. The Mountain House is a great place to stay for a small group to enjoy the beauty and serenity of Wintergreen. The woodstove added ambience, and by following the owners advice it was easy to maintain and start. The kitchen was well equipped and it was wonderful not to have to bring linens and towels. Wish there was some snow, as the view was beautiful and I could imagine it white or at Fall. We truly enjoyed staying at your home, and that is not always the case when we do vacation rentals. We would definitely stay here again.

We were in this house for a four day weekend when the kids had teacher workdays. We have stayed here in the past and the owner has been making many new updates to the space and it all looks charming. There was plenty of firewood for us and the woodstove kept us all cozy and warm. The kids even roasted marshmallows on the sticks the owner had provided! The rooms are clean and comfortable, with brand new bedding (and a new twin bed!). There is a brand new television and dvd player and lots of games and videos for the kids! There is so much to do, we went skiing, took the kids tubing and they had a fabulous time sledding on the hill right behind the house! I will come back often.

The cathedral ceiling, picture windows, cozy woodstove, comfy furniture, generously equipped kitchen, excellent cleanliness, and easy, but beautiful, location made this perhaps the best vacation house we've ever experienced. Also, the owner was thoughtful, accommodating, and easily accessible by phone and email--another big plus. Quick ride to the ski lodge. And hiking the fairway is a treat--with or without dogs. We had such a wonderful time staying at your beautiful home. It is the ideal location and being on the golf course was just spectacular. Your home was very cozy and very comfortable and I especially loved the oversized brown leather chair. Everything was perfect, the house was clean and neat, everything worked fine. Your wi-fi was very easy to get into and it was very fast connecting to the internet. We will definitely keep your information because we would love to come back and stay at your place again, maybe this winter and experience some snow. Thanks again and I will highly recommend renting from you in the future to anyone.
