We stayed in this beautiful home from Jun 20 - 27. We found it to be an awesome place to stay, it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We were deligted with Sansei Hale in every respect. The house is beautifully decorated and yet very comfortable and welcoming. The location and views are unbeatable and the layout of the house providing two master bedroom suites as well as additional sleeping room/area is great for couples or families. The perfectly designed and equipped gourmet kitchen and both inside/outside eating areas work very well and the comfort of the living room made our family kick back evenings perfect. We can't wait for our next stay, which is already booked so we can share it once again with some of our family. It truly is a home in paradise.

We stayed at this home for 6 weeks with our 2 kids. It would be hard to describe the trip in detail, but truely wonderful, would be close. This home is very well equiped and is very comfortable. The yard itself has much character and is very well maintained. The kids had a great time picking bananas, avacodoes, Mangos, coconuts and limes. I left my number in case anyone has questions. Dave

Absolutely idyllic setting-from the moment the sun peeks over the trees to the soothing lull of the stream at night. We walk down to "Turtle Cove" every evening to watch the turtles come in from the ocean - spectacular and thrilling! The house is beautifully decorated & laid out perfectly. The kitchen is a dream - top of the line appliances - and the lanai is where we eat every meal. We have stayed 3 times, with our 4th already booked for next year. I call it "Heaven on Earth" and it truly is. Oh! The snorkeling at the end of the creek is GREAT. Grab your gear and walk down. Poipu Beach is nearby and it's the perfect spot for all ages to snorkel. Best place to stay in Kauai - hands down.

7/22/09-What a fabulous home to stay in. We had a wonderful time on the island. We snorkled on Poipu Beach, drove to the Kilauea Lighthouse, visited Hanalei Beach, waterfalls and the Smith's Luau were all fabulous. 01/19/09--We really enjoyed our stay here--so quiet and relaxing with the babbling stream below. We watched the turtles swimming one evening. We really enjoyed exploring the area--great snorkeling and beach (Poipu Beach Park), great shopping at Poipu Village, loved your Puka Dogs. We had a wonderful 9 days at your beautiful house in Koloa. THe location is the best--just a short walk to Turtle Cove where we watched dozens of turtles feeding. We loved to hear the stream babbling as we relaxed on the porch. Your view from the upstairs bedroom is so nice to wake up to. Your place is so well equiped - we made good use of the BBQ! 7/27/08 This is our ninth trip to Hawaii and by far the best. Staying in such a beautiful home, rich with family history was truly an honor! "Sansei Hale", incredibly crafted, beautifully decorated, while keeping the "island" ambiance is truly a work of art. It is obvious that a lot of thought and love went into building this beautiful home. It's a nice touch to have the history of this property as a "center piece" upstairs. We have savored every moment. July 14, 2008 --GReat house, lots of room! Loved drinking coffee every morning on the deck, eating mangos and avocados off the tree and snorkeling down the road. What a wonderful time! We loved walking down the street in the evenings and watching the turtles! It was so relaxing and fun! The kids loved going to Poipu Beach and Lydgate Park Beach--take some frozen peas and feed the fish--they love it! A helicopter ride with Luca {front home resident commercial copter pilot and island air rescue team} was fantastic and a must for anyone visiting Kauai. We absolutely loved the beautiful house and the kids loved watching tadpoles in the creek, picking bananas, coconuts, guava, and avacado! It's a great experience and a lovely vacation. March, 2008--Sansei was lovely! The deck was so refreshing and beautiful at sunset and I'll never forget my sister's habit of catching frogs at 10 PM around Waikomo Stream! :) {Anne McLean} This house really made our vacation fantastic! Future guests: be sure to sleep with the windows open so that you can hear the frogs and the wind at night. 3/08--We brought our entire family plus our girls' boyfriends here for spring break. This was a much-needed peaceful home for the 7 of us....Go see the green sea turtles come into where the stream meets the bay--easy access is at the end of Puuholo Rd were it dead ends at Whaler's Cove condo. Go at dusk and sit on the lava rocks.--Syreece McLean A delightful break from the rainy, windy Oregon chill of mid-March. To die for--watching green sea turtles, tickling geckos and chatting with frogs, long naps under ceiling fan, views of the Napali coast, leaping dolphins & humpbacks and shave ice...We had a delightful time!--Jim Mc
