Steamboat is the ideal mountain get-away. Steamboat Springs, known as Ski Town, USA, is located on the west slope of the Rockies where the powder snow is legend. This one bedroom condominium at Storm Meadows is only steps from the Christie lifts and a short ski from the Silver Bullet Gondola. After a day on the slopes you can ski right back to the door steps. A private ski locker located on the same floor as the condominium accommodates your skis. After a day of Champagne Powder, take a short walk to Ski Time Square for shops, restaurants, movie theatre, and night life. A free city shuttle Bus is available at Christie Base to whisk you to Old Town Steamboat and more great restaurants and shopping.
The condominium will sleep four people using the queen bed in the bedroom and the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The large living/dining room is furnished with a TV, VCR, CD stereo, and gas fireplace. There is a second TV located in the Bedroom. Our balcony sports unprecedented views of the ski area as well as the vista of the 'flat tops' 20 miles distant. What a great place to share a glass of wine after the slopes! The kitchen has all the utensils, cooking implements and tools you need to think you are right back home.
Housekeeping: The unit is professionally cleaned and inventory taken before each guest arrives.
Restrictions: No Smoking and No Pets. There is excellent boarding for pets in the area.
Payment Policy: At time of reservation, two nights lodging deposit is required to hold reservation. Full payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. Stays less than 4 nights will be charged a $65 cleaning fee.
Cancellation: Cancellation more than 90 days before arrival; $250 administrative charge. No refunds 90 days or less prior to your arrival. No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

Pete and Jan's condo at Storm Meadows is a wonderful place to spend your vacation, come Summer or Winter. We spent 3 days there this Spring relaxing and visiting friends in beautiful Steamboat Springs. The location is ski in-ski out - perfect for Winter and is within close walking or driving to many restaurants. If you're into biking, the mountain trails are a stone's throw away in the Summer. The parking is convenient (you only have to drag your skis one short flight of stairs) and the community hot tub is delightful. The views from the condo, looking south over the Yampa Valley, toward the base of the gondola and up Mount Werner are spectacular. The furniture is comfortable and the fireplace gives this rental a cozy, warm touch. A great get-away for a couple or small family.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

This property is exactly as pictured on the VRBO web site. It is in a great location with beautiful views. It is well-equipped, and everything was clean and in good condition. The owner responded promptly to my initial inquiry and subsequent e-mails. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this property to others. It was great for two people, but might be a bit crowded with four adults. We had a lovely dinner at the Bombay Grill. Portions were huge and we heated up our leftovers for dinner the second night. Great hiking in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. Took a ride on the Alpine Slide.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
