Christmas stay

Our experience at the home was excellent. We had a family of 6 stay there. Everything was as advertised-all of the conveniences of home - kitchen utensils and cooking utensils were clean and well functioning. Great hot tub on deck, working gas fireplace. The two family rooms are a real plus with kids- big screen TV and DVD players in both rooms. It is ski-in, ski-out if there is enough snow, but with little snow we caught the free bus which is about a 4 minute walk and 5 minute ride to the major quad lifts on Peak 8. Owner was great to work with. We would stay there again.

What an excellent choice for our family vacation. Everything was "as advertised ". The home was very roomy, clean, well furnished and in a great location. The owner was very helpful and great to work with. We had a small maintenance issue when we were there. The owner had it taken care within a couple of hours. This home will be our first choice on our next trip to Breckenridge.

Having visited Breck many times, the location of this home is ideal! 2 blocks from the Nordic Center trails, near Peak 8 and the Gondola, an easy walk or ride down to Main Street and a beautiful family-friendly neighborhood make this a wonderful place to spend time. We especially enjoyed the views of the pond off of the deck, the relaxation of the hot tub and the separate living spaces in the home for teenagers and adults to have separation when necessary. :-) The owner, Mark, was a JOY to work with and provided us with numerous recommendations for our time here. In fact, we enjoyed this home so much, we booked one additional night at the last minute! Book this location if you have two or more families--you won't be sorry!

We had a wonderful week long stay at the beginning of August. The owner was very easy to work with and always quick to answer any questions. The house was in great shape and very clean. For a family of six, we had more than enough room. The house is located just up the mountain from main street. It is within about a ten minute walk. Breckenridge was a great place to stay in Colorado. It was close enough that we were able to take day trips to Vail, Aspen, and Estes Park. We recommend Eric's on Main St. for great pizza and wings. We happened to eat there on three occasions. The house had a great mountain theme inside and out, with a beautiful deck overlooking a pond into the woods. We will definitly be saving the owners contact info for future stays. Thank you for the hospitality.

We loved the layout of the house. The teenagers could hang out downstairs with their own den (watch their own shows) and the adults could hang in a different living room upstairs. Tons of room to spread out and the ski in/out makes for a seamless day on the slopes. We rented for Christmas and it was so beautiful to be in Breckenridge that time of year. Great views, comfy beds, great kitchen. And to be able to pull into the garage and unload is a dream. I highly recommend this property.

Dealing with the owner was a pleasure, he was very accommodating and the house is perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very well stocked and equipped with with everything needed to cook for the family. Having to living rooms is great when traveling with kids. Location is easy access to slopes and town. We are looking forward to renting this home again!
Owner response:We're so thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at our home! Please do keep us in mind if your future vacation plans bring you back to Breck! Thank you for your review! Reviews are so helpful to potential renters and we really appreciate you taking the time to complete the review.

Our family debates which is the best time of year to escape to Breck. Luckily for us, we have enjoyed returning to this home for both winter and summer fun and look forward to retuning in the future. We have enjoyed all that the area has to offer in February as well as in July. Although my husband is most happy on the slopes and then returning to the warmth and comfort of this inviting home, I look forward to sitting on the deck facing the pond and seeing what wildlife comes calling. The clean air and beautiful scenery make it hard to return to reality after spending time hiking, enjoying concerts, going for long rides through the majestic mountains and of course dining and shopping.Sometimes it's just relaxing to stay in and make use of the well supplied kitchen and enjoy the house. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to stay at this home in both seasons. It is clear that the owners put a lot of thought into what makes for a comfortabe stay in their wonderful home. This house has become our " go to " house when visiting Colorado.

We booked this place sight unseen in 2009 and went back in 2010 and hope to go back in 2011 and beyond. Great location, bus to slopes is at the end of the street. The house has a nice open layout that so everyone could spend some quality time together. Great Hottub on the porch, nice big comfy beds and plenty of room for everyone. It has a big main room for everyone to gather as well as an additional den in case you want some quiet time to read or watch a dvd. Breck has the best combination of slopes, style and sustenance and shouldn't be missed. We can't wait to go back again this year!!!

I stayed at this rental home in mid January 2009 with my husband, sister, her husband, and their two children. The house was very welcoming and offered plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment to stay in for dinners, but it was also a short drive into town to enjoy dinner out. Everything was close and convenient. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch. Most importantly for us, it was a good location to the slopes. A five minute walk took us to the free shuttle that brought us to the base of peak 8 in minutes. The shuttle was never full, even on the busiest day. Getting back at the end of the day was just as easy. Once back at the house, the view from the living room was stunning. I would definitely stay here again!
