This is a clean, young half duplex rancher in small gated community in the quiet residential village of Playa Hermosa. It is fully self-contained on one level with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with cable TV, separate bedrooms (one with ensuite bath) and main bathroom.
Tico-Spanish furniture, lots of tile, modern appliances and plenty of native wood are featured in this roomy unit, ideal for two couples. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom has a queen bed also. There is parking for two cars as well as two private patios for lazy days.
The beach is a very short walk away and has a few Tico bars to enjoy a cold one with your toes in the sand or admire the gorgeous sunsets. The village of Playa Hermosa has a small supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants and is just a few kilometers north of the larger, more touristy Playa Del Coco (about five minutes' drive or $10-$15 per taxi). Rental car is recommended. Easy access to activities (canopy-zipping?), tours, diving, sight-seeing (Arenal volcano?), boating (yacht tours on-site), etc.
