Our visit was Jan. 16-18, 2012 and we had no complaints. Pretty condo with large rooms, nicely decorated, and well maintained. We very much liked Angel Fire and fortunately, lots of snow fell while we were there. Condo seemed a little farther than 2 blocks from the ski area but it was walkable and there is a bus. The owner responded quickly to our application on short notice and promptly returned our deposit after our stay. We hope to return again soon.

Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights of the 2011 New Mexico blizzard in great comfort and warmth in this lovely condo. The skiing was super! The shuttle picked us up at the condo entrance. We had lots of hot water, great ski storage, the elevator was a great convenience, and the condo was nice as the pictures. We ate our meals at the condo and the kitchen was very easy to work in. The master bathroom is beautiful and the new floors are lovely. The owners were easy to work with and we would love to go back.

This was our the third stay in this unit, and the condo continued to more than meet our needs. Liked the recent flooring, and wireless upgrades which worked great with my laptop. We do a mom's ski weekend off with 2 dads and 2 boys which allows everyone to have their own bed, could easily sleep another 1 or 2 kids. Two full baths made it ideal for morning and after ski showers. I read a previous negitive review regarding hot water? With teenagers taking longer than average showers, hot water was never an issue for us. Dealing with the current ownership has been a pleasent experience, a key reason in reserving it again for 2012.

I am a professional airline pilot and stay in top of the line hotels all over the world. This condo more than exceeds my expectations. We have rented this condo 3 consecutive years, that last two from the present owners. I have found the owners extremely easy to work with and their information packet covers "everything". This condo is very clean and has all the comforts of home. I read the comment about not enough hot water and don't understand. When we rent this condo it's always my buddy and I, our two 17 year old sons and two of their friends. That's six men staying in this condo "comfortably". Five of us ski and when we come home at the end of the day everyone likes to take a shower to relax. We have never had a hot water shortage issue. The first year we stayed we didn't have hot water right away - but after "reading" the instructions provided by the owners we realized the first thing you do upon arrival is "turn the hot water heater on". Hot water problem solved! Yes we have already made our resevations again for next year. I would and do strongly recommend this condo, we have enjoyed it.

Very Disappointed

We missed a half day on the slopes due to not having enough hot water for baths/showers. After one bath and one shower, there was no hot water. The owner sent out maintenance who confirmed there was no hot water, but said the hot water heater was working because it was running. It took a little over an hour for the water to get hot again. After another bath and shower the water was cold again. I sent an email to the owner asking her if this issue was going to be fixed and her response was: “The only thing I can recommend is that you take showers at different times of the day.” After letting her know my disappointment to this suggestion she replied with: “When I've stayed with groups the size of yours, we have always planned some evening showers. I'm sorry our hot water heater is not large enough for everyone at the same time.” We certainly did not expect to be able to only bathe two at a time and then have to wait over an hour for the water to get hot again. We have travelled with much larger groups and never had a problem with hot water. The condo slept 4-6, and our group did not exceed this number. If you rent a place that sleeps 4 – 6, the hot water heater should accommodate baths/showers for that number of people. The owner’s response to the hot water issue was ridiculous. I can’t imagine any group on vacation considering renting a place that required baths/showers to be taken at different times throughout the day. We loved the area, but will not rent this from this owner again.

Owner response:We're so sorry these ladies were disappointed. We have had multiple occupants on many occasions and no complaints. They apparently believe that hot water should be limitless, as they wanted to bathe/shower one after the other in both bathrooms at the same time. Our hot water heater is the standard size for a 2-bedroom unit and is more than adequate.

The owners were extremely easy to work with, and the location is heavenly. We spent a relaxing and comfortable week hiking, fishing, and relaxing. Clean, spacious condo -- quiet and close to ski resort, restaurants and local shopping. We would definitely visit again!!!
