Welcome to Casa Mariano. This beautiful modern and spacious single-storey detached villa in a countryside setting with wonderful elevated views over a sweeping valley and vineyards offers both privacy and seclusion, and yet is just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Albufeira, top golf courses, beautiful beaches and secluded coves. A short stroll from the villa will take you into the picturesque village of Paderne with its quaint shops, restaurants and famous Moorish Castle Ruins.
The villa is set in fully enclosed mature gardens with palm trees, oleanders and lavander which are illuminated in the evening with attractive garden lighting. A brand-new 10m x 5m Italian mosaic-tiled private pool has an underwater light for night time swimming and acts as a lovely backlight to the terrace and gardens. The pool has a shallow end for children with easy walk-in steps. The entire terrace and pool area has superb views across the valley and fruit orchards and the castle ruins can also be viewed in the distance.
*Pool-heating (optional). You cannot beat swimming under the stars in a warm pool! Heated to a constant 30 degrees.

***ACCOMMODATION***
There are three large bedrooms plus a fourth smaller-sized bedroom. Two bathrooms:
* The master bedroom features a romantic double brass bed and has a beautiful ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, W.C and wash-basin. Patio doors lead out onto the front lawn, palm tree, gardens and swimming pool.
* The second bedroom features a king-size bed and overlooks side gardens and fields.
* The third bedroom contains twin beds and looks out to rear gardens among almond and citrus trees.
* The fourth bedroom comprises of a single bed with an optional pull-out junior bed and also looks out onto gardens, rear lawn and palm tree.
* There is also a further shared bathroom featuring a luxurious jacuzzi/hydro-massage bath plus a shower, W.C, bidet and twin wash-basins.
* 2 cots and high-chairs are also available if required
The spacious and comfortable lounge features a wood-burning fireplace and opens out onto the terrace and pool areas. A Widescreen Digital TV provides BBC/ITV/CNN/Sky News, etc. There is also a DVD player with a wide selection of movies, a well-stocked bookcase, puzzles and games.
A large bright modern kitchen is superbly equipped and features an island/breakfast bar and top quality appliances. Opens out to the pool area.
*Ultra-modern and quiet air-conditioning units are in every room, each operated by an individual remote control (optional)
Outside there is table-tennis, darts, a hammock, ample sun loungers, recliners, seating, and a large BBQ area with beautiful furniture for outdoor dining, and just wait till you see the fabulous full moon rises over the valley! Sun-rises are just as spectacular. A lovely wooden decked area is a perfect spot to wind down with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the hills.
There are many walks to take in this beautiful part of the Algarve - just step outside the front door!...
Other attractions such as water parks, zoo marine, and the beautiful Monchique Mountains are all within easy driving distance. The very pretty towns of Alte and Silves are also well worth a visit. Having read the listing description and viewed the photos we emailed the owners to see if at short notice the villa was available. a quick reply confirming yes together with further helpful advice following a further email from us meant that we went ahead and booked. car hire was arranged through the owners and their directions from the airport were clear. we were met by the owners about a mile from the villa and then followed them the remaining distance to the villa which was set back and well hidden from the road. We were given an extensive guide to the villa. shown how to operate appliances etc and then followed them to the local supermarket to stock up on our provisions before the owners left us knowing that they were only at the other end of a phone if we needed anything. with the villa being everything the description said the daytime was spent relaxing by the pool, only breaking to have something to drink or eat or having a dip in the pool or playing darts or table tennis. backed up by a mini library and an extensive cd collection to suit every taste there was plenty to read and listen to as well as keeping up to date with home news and sport on the tv. evenings were spent seeking out local restaurants of which there were ample within a 10 minute drive. many more restaurants and bars were available within the main resort of albufeira which was only 15 minutes drive away. All too soon our 6 night stay was over. Thanks once again to the owners for their efficiency and help. The property and area exceeded our expectations and we would have no hesitancy in returning ourselves or recommending their "Little Piece of Heaven" to anyone else

This villa is in a wonderful location, very peaceful and tranquil with only a short drive to the main tourist centers, so essentially you get the best of both worlds. The bedrooms are all very spacious and the living/dinning area is large too. The kitchen is very new and is very well stocked with pretty much all you could need! The owners are wonderful people, very helpful and attentive to any needs we had. This villa was perfect for my family and if we visit the Algarve again we would stay here!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children.
