  Our preferred way of travel is to have a 'home base' that is - a home away from home. We were able to have this here. We brought friends from Belgium to the National Parks and it was wonderful to have that big kitchen, our own bathrooms but shared comfortable living space. Nothing like waking up to Red Rocks in my view, too! Quiet, beautiful, even if you wanted to just sit on the deck and read a book, while you were gazing at the scenery!

  We had a wonderful time at Cedar Berry Inn! Treva & Bruce were very gracious hosts, the house was very comfortable, and the property was beautiful and amazingly quiet. The house is on a hillside overlooking a valley and red cliffs. We couldn't have asked for more perfect accommodations for our visit to Kanab and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

  Our family of four rented the Cedar Berry Inn in July to tour the national parks in the area. It was the perfect location for visiting Bryce National Park, Zion National Park, Pink Sands State Park and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our in-laws also stayed with us for three days and the house had plenty of room for six people. We would hike and play during the day, come back and cool off in the large pool, BBQ some dinner and soak in the hot tub. The full kitchen was great to have and the beds were comfy. This rental is on the lower level of the house which may make it difficult for light sleepers and only one bathroom. We still give it five stars because the owners were fantastic, friendly, and responded to our every need. We highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

  We are an Italian couple and we stayed in Kanab for 4 days. If you are looking for a perfect relaxing stay you will cant find an apartment like this. The owners are very kindly people and the home its so beautiful and near to so many natural attraction. The home is very very clean and big suitable also for many people. There's no suitable word to describe the enjoyng in the pool and Iacuzzi. Everything that you need for a perfect stayng is available in the home but if you need something you have only to ask to the owners that are very helpful. If you are planning a trip in this zone we recommend to stay at least one week because there are so many attraction near Kanab. Many thanks to the owner T. & B. David and Aurora

  Our family had a great four days here. Day 1: Grand Canyon. Day 2: Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and more difficult hike in Zions NP. Day 3: Back to Zions for leisurely hikes. Day 4: Bryce Canyon on the way back to Salt Lake. Kanab is a good location if you want to stay in the same place while hitting all the big parks. Would have gone to some others if we had more time. We loved soaking in the hot tub after a long day of walking. Our hosts (on top floor) were cordial and friendly, yet not intrusive of our space. Yard and home are immaculately kept up. Patio was comfortable. We were treated well. Nice place.

  I must admit, I am sure it’s going to get a lot harder to get a reservation at this property once the word is out… What can I say, nice people, great property, private pool, perfect location to tour Zion and Bryce. The hosts went beyond the usual to welcome our family; atv rides for the kids, hot cinnamon buns after a long day of touring and a special tour of their very interesting and inspirational family history in Utah. This visit is the epitome of why we love to stay at homes rather than hotels. It’s the perfect location and the warmth and grace of the hosts was beyond belief. We will be back….if we can get a reservation!

  This was our first visit to the area from Ohio. Our house was the perfect center base for trips each day to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion. We found the home clean and spacious-with four children, three whom are late teens and young adults, there was room to breathe. We enjoyed the use of the pool, found the town lovely and friendly. Our hosts were away during our trip but touched base with us to make sure everything was in place and orderly for us. Would we recommend Berry Cedar? Yes, yes and yes!

  We had a wonderful time!!! The pool was perfect and the hosts were amazing and so helpful and accomidating. We stayed with a group of girls for a softball tournament and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They even helped us out with washing our uniforms. You could not ask for a better host than Treva. I totally recommend this home for everyone with or without the softball team. It was clean and private and beautiful. It was the best day for all of the girls and a huge relief for all of the parents and coaches. The view was gorgeous and everything we needed was at our finger tips plus more!!! Thanks for a great weekend!

  Amazing, beautiful, quiet setting. The listing is accurate. The home was clean and beautiful. The owners went way beyond the call of duty offering great information about places to ride our dirt bikes, places to eat, etc. They are longtime residents of Kanab, and have spent a great deal of time exploring the local trails. If they did not know an answer to a question, the knew someone who did, and would call and get an answer. They actually had a friend come buy with a map and give us directions to a remote area we hoped to find. There was a problem with the pool. They spent a great deal of time and effort to get it fixed quickly. The kids loved the private pool. We are thinking about going back for a small family reunion. You will not find better hosts anywhere. They were great. Some of our family went and volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. They loved it. The Mediterranean Cafe had great food.

  We had a great week end in this apartment located in a very nice place in the west side of Kanab, surrounded by the magnificent redstone moutains and very quiet. The house was super clean. There is a private swimming pool and a grass area for kids to play. The hosts are retired people and they live in the upper apartment, They have their own entrance in the other side of the house and are extremely discreet but made everything OK for us. They are very nice and it was a pleasure to meet them.
