Had a perfect stay in this condo. Clean, well maintained and perfect central location with great restaurants, access to a phenomenal beach club and marinas. I've been around the world to these types of destinations and I can honestly say nothing compares to this. (think Costa Rica, Bora Bora, Nassau Atlantis, Mexico Mainland, etc.) If you don't check this place out, you are missing out. Super easy to deal with owner and clear instructions to property. Highly recommended.

Hooked on Baja

Great condo overlooking a marina with golf course and ocean views beyond that. Large living room/dining area with full kitchen, including an oven and dishwasher. Large shaded patio (although could use some more comfortable outdoor furniture). The condo is on the second floor, above an outdoor restaurant, but we didn't have any problem with noise. They closed every nite by 11:00 so diners never kept us awake and we never heard sounds from the kitchen. One nite a week they have live music - a great acoustic guitar player - so we enjoyed the concert from the patio! Another rest. across the marina also has live music once or twice a week, and we enjoyed that too. The marina is small and mostly private boats, so it isn't busy or loud early mornings with fishing charters and tours going out - very peaceful. Beach club is awesome with infinity edge pool right on the ocean. Resort offers a free shuttle into town which we used a few times, even though we had a rental car. We golfed at Costa Baja several times - great course with ocean views from every hole. Discount pricing for anyone staying at the resort. Also golfed at Paraiso, not as nice a course but still decent and cheaper. Within a 15 minute drive are 3 absolutely gorgeous beaches: Tesoro, Balandra and Tecolote. Went to all of them and love them all; beautiful views, white powdery sand, calm shallow waters - Heavenly! Lots of great, inexpensive restaurants in town - must try the tacos at 'The Bismark' right on the Malecon. Several good grocery stores in town if you want to cook, which we do half the time. Can't beat the selection, or price of fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. Would highly recommend taking a boat tour to Espiritu Island to see the sealife and beaches. Went to a movie theater one night and saw a current release, in English with Spanish subtitles. Tickets were only $2.50 each and popcorn was a buck! We stayed for 2 weeks, and never ran out of things to do. Will definately book here again next year. You wouldn't need a car since there is a shuttle to town and buses and cheap taxis for anything further away. Any water activites can be booked at the marina (a little pricey) or thru a couple places in town, right on the Malecon.

Vacation rental feature misrepresented by owner in listing description

The pictures & description of the property & the resort are accurate. I loved the location & the services available: the private beach, the pool, the restaurants, etc. All the staff were fabulous to deal with & most helpful. 5 Stars! Unfortunately, this was not the case with the owner or manager of this property. The listing description states WiFi is available; however it is only available outside of the condo and there are no instructions in the condo where to find a connection, nor were any forthcoming from the manager or owner. This misrepresentation should be corrected to avoid misunderstandings & inconveniences to future renters. I booked & paid for 9 nights; however travel plans changed and a request to the owner to permit date changes was denied, although there appeared to be no bookings preventing some flexibility. As a result, I only got 8 of the 9 nights I paid for. I would definitely stay at this resort again, but not at this property.

Owner response:Sharon's description of the condo is true, but not her stay!! Sharon's review regarding her stay is not truthful or accurate. Sharon's arrival day was on Sunday. Her husband called me to tell me she will be one day late and arrive on Monday. I granted her a later departure of another day without charge because I did try to accommodate her. Sharon emailed me 3 days later to request another later departure date. This is quoted from her email to me " I may check out on the 16th instead of 15th to make up this time. I believe that would make us even $$wise?" she wrote. SHARON'S REANTAL AGREEMENT WAS FOR 9 NIGHTS. THEN SHE STAYED THE 10TH NIGHT FOR FREE AND TRIED TO GET THE 11TH NIGHT FOR FREE AS WELL! I had already given her a extra day without charge. she wanted more. Sharon is an unhappy guest because she wanted to dictate her arrival and departure dates. Then expected me to grant all her requests.....without any charges.

The unit was clean and had a relatively good view of the marina. If you are looking for a sunrise or sunset off the deck this unit is largely in the shade. It would be a good unit in a hotter La Paz month. The beach club is very very nice. We relaxed there two or three times often having the entire pool and club to ourselves. The staff was very welcoming or hospitable. The Beach Club Restaurant had great breakfasts and lunches. The pool view and setting was first class. The drawback of this unit is its location. It's immediately above a restaurant. We had trouble getting to sleep three times because people were laughing and partying below, outside our bedroom window to midnight. On the otherhand, the restaurant below has very good food. I wouldn't recommend the Sushi restaurant. Not a good bang for your buck.

My husband and I had an amazing week at this condo! It has breathtaking views of the beautiful marina. The marina has five-star resort food, a convenient store for anything you forgot to pack and a private beach club to enhance your ultimate getaway! The private beach club has an infinity pool that your eyes could get lost in, and the hot tub is awesome for a relaxing afternoon. Besides the amazing surrounding areas, the condo itself is beautiful. It feels so light and fresh! If you are looking for a honeymoon getaway like my husband and I, or just a family vacation, this is the place you want to be!

I stayed here last summer for several nights, and was amazed by the spaciousness, views and cleanliness of the unit. Do yourself a favor, and try this condo out- can't recommend it enough, and I hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at this condo and had a wonderful time. The spacious living quarters and balcony were great for relaxing, and the grounds of the Costa Baja complex are beautiful, especially the pool area! The condo is also a great location, only a 5 minute drive from downtown but away from the loud noises of the malecon. La Paz itself is a great town with excellent (and affordable!) restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this rental.

WE have stayed many times in Loretta's unit in Costa Baja. It is a great unit in a great location. Loretta has been wonderful to rent from and the unit is always clean and ready.

My wife and I loved this vacation! We were here for 2 weeks and plan to come back. The Condo was spacious & airy, had a great deck and was very well equipped. The resort amenites are world class! We have stayed in a lot of nice places around the world and rate this in the top 3 along w/ the Big Island and New Zealand. There is a shuttle that takes you into La Paz, which is a wonderful Mexcian City with great dining. It was all good!

Spent over a month had a very enjoyable stay. The complex is very secure,well maintained,and the staff is helpful. The unit is very open and airy. The daily shuttel is very nice and dependable.You can also walk to town in about an hour. Moorings charter center located in Marina and Baja Fun Adventures run trips out to Islands. They have a wonderful staff and do a great job.The pool and exercise room are great. Great places to eat and there is a weekly outdoor movie. You could not find a better place to explore Baja and even main land Mexico via ferry service. On ocasions there is night life. Great value and would come again.

What a beautiful codo, and an elegant experience. We would gladly come back here. The restaurants are fantastic, and the shuttle runs all day to take you in and out of town. The beach club is gorgeous!

Very nice condo with a great view. The staff were very friendly and the location was great. Our two kids used the futons in the sitting room and found them comfortable. We look forward to renting this condo again as it was a pleasant experience

We had a wonderful stay at the condo! We were able to use the Fiesta Inn's Pool, The shuttle to downtown is really convenient and all the people we met in the Marina helped make our trip complete. The restaurants downstairs serve great food and we had live music a couple of evenings. Thanks

Great 1 bedroom condo overlooking the Marina. Perfect location - especially for access to Cortez Club just down the road. Property manager was very friendly. Kitchen and bathroom are really nice. I would highly recommend staying here over the local hotels!
