A few friends and my family booked a last minute trip to St Augustine, FL for a golf & beach vacation and we were pleasantly surprise that this rental was not yet booked. The rental is beautiful and accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly. This is a luxurious condo development that is beautifully landscaped and built around a lake that attracts snowy egrets and herons. It also has a great pool and is walking distance to an amazing beach! It was a quite beach and super clean. We played many many rounds of golf at the Wolrd Golf at St Augustine and had a great time catching some whiting at the pier. Our kids enjoyed the condo too that had cute beds with a very cool nautical theme. There are also great hikes and walking distance to various seafood restaurants. We loved the fact we were on the 3rd floor of the condo complex with peekaboo views of the ocean that gave us a cool breeze. Very clean and felt like home. We absolutely loved this property!! It totally surpassed our expectations. We unpacked and truly felt like we were right at home. Very spacious....loved the large closets and walkin laundry room. This condo was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us. Our kids loved exploring the pond in front of the condo. There were tons of turtles and ducks in the pond. The pool was just a few steps from the condo. I could even watch my kids and husband at the pool from the balcony of the condo. The open floor plan was perfect. I enjoyed the huge soaking tub in the master bath. The condo is just a few minutes away from the beach. We loved the farmers market on Wednesday morning right across the street from the condo development. The condo is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed Sunset Grill (huge gourmet salads and fabulous burgers). What a dream vacation spot! Our family spent an idyllic week in this spotless, spacious condo. Our children spent hours in the beautiful condo complex pool. They enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the egrets and ducks splash around the lovely little lake in the middle of the property, walking across the road to the pristine beach to gambol in the waves and at the splash park, hiking with their binoculars in Anastasia State Park (a bird sanctuary right next to the condo). We all loved strolling along the enchanting town's cobblestone streets lined with Spanish moss-draped trees and wandering through some of the oldest colonial buildings in North America, including a couple of ancient forts (one accessible by boat only). We saw dolphins swimming in the estuary along the intracoastal waterway. My father fished from the pier across the road, my husband golfed. The condo is in the best possible location in St. Augustine Beach, right across a road from the beach. It is tastefully decorated and soothing to spend time in. We will treasure the memories of that week forever. We plan to return regularly and have been recommending it to all our friends. We had a fabulous time at this condo. It was clean, had everything we needed, was very conveniently located right across from the beach and splash park. We spent hours in the sparkling pool and on sandy beach. Old town St. Augustine also has so much character and is a charming place to visit with many attractions for young and old. We felt completely at home and loved the cool ocean breeze that would drift in through the french doors of the master bedroom and living room. The cathedral ceilings and fans also added such an elegant touch to our whole perfect stay there.
