Bring your boat, or just simply Crab and Fish on the pier in the backyard of this 4 story sandcastle. Just 3/4 mile to beach, and a short walk to Harpoon Hannah's for a happening Happy Hour or exceptional meal!! Don't worry about the weather, the fourth floor game room has Fuse Ball, Air Hockey, Pool Table and TV with DVD Player, fun for kids and adults of all ages!
This 5 bedroom sandcastle has a bath and TV in every bedroom. Three huge decks for sunbathing to BBQ'ing. Available for use in garage are five bikes, some beach chairs and beach toys, and an umbrella and blanket for the beach. Plenty of off-street parking for at least 6 cars (or more depending on size). Reserve early for this house books fast.
As you enter the house on the first floor, you will find a sitting room with a pull-out couch as well as two bedrooms. The one bedroom has a queen size bed and the other "pirate" room has three twin beds; each room has its own private bath and TV. Both of these rooms face the canal and have sliding glass doors out to the deck that wraps around three sides of the house. The outside shower for rinsing off sand from beach is located around to the side of house.
The second floor is the living area, dining room, and office/den. There are two sliding glass doors out to a covered deck with a BBQ grill and plenty of seating overlooking the canal. When you sit out here at Happy Hour, you can just hear the music from Harpoon Hannah's across the canal. The kitchen/dining room/living room is an open floor plan with plenty of seating. In the living room you will find a couch and loveseat, as well as an additional pull-out couch, with a large TV. The kitchen and dining room will seat 13 people between the two, (don't forget all the seating out on the deck!). At the front of the house there is an office/den equipped with wireless internet. It also can provide an additional semi-private bedroom. This room has a daybed with a twin trundle, a desk, and a utility closet containing the Washer/dryer. Additional bathroom with shower next to kitchen.
The Master Bedroom is on the third floor and faces the street; it does not have a deck. It has King size bed and private bath with a separate shower, and jacuzzi tub. There will be Port-a-crib available in closet. Two other bedrooms are on this floor and each have queen size beds and private bath. These two rooms each have sliding doors to a large sunbathing deck that overlooks canal (as well as Harpoon Hannah's across the canal) with a wonderful view from the Little Assawoman Bay all the way to Ocean City.
And finally, on the fourth floor, is the rainy day room. It contains a pool table, fusball, and air hockey, a large TV/DVD and a full pull-out couch. There are two window seats that could be used for sleeping, big enough for children but not adults.

Great place for a Golf Outing!

We had a group of 12 guys for a couple days of golf. The Sandcastle was as listed and had plenty of space. Having a private bath for each bedroom was great. The canal side decks provided a nice view and a glimpse of Harpoon Hannah's across the water. Judy was always very responsive and nice to work with offering to help in any way she could. This would be a great house for a family vacation, girls weekend, golf outing...nearly anything! I will definitely check on the availability of The Sandcastle for my next trip to the OC area. Thanks Judy!

House is exactly as listed and well maintained. Judy was such a pleasure working with, always got prompt response to emails/phone calls. Location was perfect- everything a short walk or quick ride away. Almost preferred being on the canal then on the actual beach because we did a lot of crabbing and fishing! We had 8 adults and 6 kids ranging from 5months to 5years and there was more then enough room and plenty to do. Was sad to cut the week short because of Hurricane Irene, hopefully this sandcastle on the canal didnt sustain too much damage because we hope to come back next year!

We have rented this home for two (2) years in a row for our family weekend. The house has a great layout, we have tweens & teenages who all love the 4th floor game room! The adults hang out on the 2nd floor in the kitchen/dining/living room area. We do alot of cooking and the kitchen has plenty of counter space. Four of the rooms have a direct walkout deck & waterview, the master bedroom doesn't, but it's perk is the jacuzzi tub! You can walk to Harpoon Hannah's, go around the corner to the movies or a short ride you can go ice skating (year round) at the Carousel Hotel, of course there are plenty of outlets to shop at in Rehobeth. The owner is super easy to work with and we never had any problems at the house either time we rented.

This is a great house. We had 9 ladies and we all had room and loved it. A wonderful view of the canal and close to restaurants and shopping. Spacious great room nicely decorated. The only draw back was Harpoon Hannahs across the canal but they were not loud very late into the night. All and all wonderful and I would rent again. The owner was great to work with as well !!!!
