Big Pink is newly furnished, Non Smoking, 2 bedroom, 2 bath. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood in the village of Port Royal, just under 10 mins drive to dowtown Beaufort. It is extremely pretty, with very upscale Pottery Barn furnishings and bedding. This is not a typical rental house.

Beautiful heart pine hardwood floors throughout. The home is built over the two-car garage to allow water views from the living area. Sitting at the loft desk you can even watch egrets out back in the marsh. Pictures do not do this home justice. Feel free to ask for more.

This beachy, light, airy home boasts a kitchen/living area, a large guest bath, and guest bedroom (queen bed) on the main floor, and a very large loft style master bedroom, with a king size bed, and office area on the next floor. There is a second story porch off the main living floor looking out over the quiet, large yard.

This rental is constantly in demand. It is very clean, with lots of special touches, and we take care to make sure guests are supplied with things are other rentals don't offer. Fluffy white towels, high thread count linens on the bed, even soap with a loofah embedded custom made by Soapy Topia for us. If you are staying for 2 weeks or longer, you even receive comfy white terry velour robes embroidered with "Big Pink" - they are yours to keep. All of our guests receive a small gift bag that includes a bottle of wine to celebrate your stay, and as a thank you from us...so go ahead and pamper yourself - don't you deserve it?

From here you can walk in about 2 minutes to the Seafood Market and buy your dinner to cook on the grill, or dine at the famous Dockside Restaurant, and look at the shrimp boats. The Sands Beach is just a couple minutes drive or a 10 minute walk. This home is central to everything. Downtown Beaufort is less than a 10 minute drive, Savannah is just under an hour, Charleston 1 1/2 hours drive. Pets are welcome with permission-don't forget to write about your dog's adventures in our dog log!

  • The BIG PINK is wonderful! It's in a perfect location 2 short blocks away from the main street area of Port Royal, within walking distance to great shops, etc. 11th Street Dockside is just a few houses away (a wonderful seafood restaurant and store!). The area is beautiful for taking walks, riding bikes, etc. The Sands boat ramp and beach are very close also. Downtown Beaufort is just minutes away. The Big Pink is a beautiful home! The decor is beautiful, fun, and very comfortable. The pillow-top beds are wonderful, and the bathrooms are very well-appointed. The kitchen is also well-stocked. The owners have included every convenience. The yard is beautiful, with a giant mossy oak tree in front, and a nice porch upstairs with rockers. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it!

  • Big Pink is lovely!! I was the first person to stay in this beautifully decorated home. It is close to the beach, the shops in Port Royal and to the most popular local eatery. It is comfortable yet very classy and you feel like you never want to leave. I will return year after year, for sure!! This is a "must stay at" classy place to relax, enjoy Beaufort, and "return to" as much as possible. BIG PINK is fabulous!!/ Kathy Davis
