  If you are planning a trip to Barbados, you must book Margate Gardens #2! The second you step inside the condo you can see the thought and care that Nicole and Ray have gone too in order to make your vacation stay an awesome one! Barbados is a beautiful island and staying at Margate gardens #2 is like living in an oasis. The condo is beautifully decorated, well kept and has all the amenities you could possible need. The modern flare is very welcoming and suitable for young children. We had a 3 year old and 14 month old with us and they just loved walking out on the back porch and into their own private pool. The grounds at Margate Gardens is well kept and the fact that its located across the street from the beach, the board walk and numerous restaurants you don't require a means of transportation. The mall next door provides you with a variety store where you can pick up your basic food items and there is even a Subway and Haagen-Dazs Cafe to indulge in great tasting desserts. There is also a RBC located in that mall so you can easily exchange your currency. Please read Nicole and Ray's description careful because every thing written is accurate and true. I am sure if you book your trip with them you will not be disappointed and will for sure rebook your next trip to Barbados at Margate Gardens #2, we did and our kids can't wait to go back again next year!

  All I can say is perfect! This apartment is in the best location you could ask for and has everything you could need for a great stay. The gardens and pool were amazing. The little patio was great for relaxing out of the sun and still felt private. Only a few steps away from sooo many things and always a friendly face around. We would definetly stay here again in the future and would recommend to anyone, couples, families, young and old. Thanks again Nicole for a great stay.

  We had an amazing stay. Attention to detail was incredible. Everything we could possibly need was at this condo. Location was great, across from the boardwalk. We were able to walk to beaches, bars and restaurants. Loved the modern decor!

  We were very pleased with this property. Nicole was there to greet us upon our arrival and showed us around the unit. It was as beautiful as the pictures on the site and had all the amenities required to enjoy our stay. I must admit that we spent most of the time in the secluded outdoor oasis relaxing on the comfortable patio furniture. The next morning, as we explored beyond the curtains, we were pleased to see a beautiful courtyard and the pool in the center. Across the street is the boardwalk and along the coast, an array of restaurants, some of which included live entertainment. With a grocery store in the shopping plaza beside us or a bus stop less than a minute away, we were able to make our way to Bridgetown, Oystins fish market, and the larger grocery store. If you want to explore the island, the bus or zr's are the best way to go. In addition to the location which was amazing, it is the extra little touches that show that Nicole and Ray care about their guests. We loved it so much, we booked a stay next year.

  We have been traveling to Barbados for over 20 years and have stayed in many locations on the South Coast. Margate Gardens #2 is by far one of the best villas we've rented. We will certainly look to book this unit on future stays. The location is wonderful and the unit is beautiful (pictures do not do it justice) and extremely well equipped. Nicole went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We will definitely recommend this unit to friends and family!

  Had a warm welcom from Nicole when we arrived, the apartment was in gated community which was very safe. We travelled with a 3 year old child and it was so homely she felt happy straight away, which made us relax. The pool was very quiet as there seems to be quite a few residential properties there, so no fighting for sun beds! Neighbours were all friendly. The apartment is exactly as the photos show very clean, a cleaner came in once during our stay to change bedding and towels. It is very spacious and well laid out. Nicole has provided everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The beach is across the road, it has a boardwalk so if you do take children it is easy to go for a walk along the beach There are shops next door, a food hall with various foods Subway, KFC etc and supermarket. There are restaurants locally. I would definitely recommend this accomodation to friends and family Thank you Nicole for a fantastic holiday, look forward to coming back Merry Christmas

  We were so happy about our decision to stay in Margate Gardens. The condo is beautiful and so well appointed - we felt spoiled. Everything we could have wanted to make us feel like home was provided... kitchen with all appliances, big bedroom (king bed!), laundry and private patio. Why would we ever stay in a hotel? The location was perfect for us, across from the boardwalk leading to Rockley Beach - near great restaurants and small market. Nicole was a dream to work with - thank you so much. What we saw in the photos was exactly what we experienced. We visit Barbados every two years and this was the most comfortable and relaxing stay ever.

  My family and I stayed here for two weeks, for crop over. I have to say the condo was exactly as the pictures depicted, fairly spacious, clean, tidy and contemporary!!!!! It had everything you could possibly want and I actually cooked more than I thought I would!!!!!!! Nicole and Ray were excellent hosts and trust me, nothing was too much, even the smallest thing which we asked for was not a problem, which is exactly what you would want on holiday!! My son enjoyed the use of the pool which was right on the doorstep!!! We enjoyed chilling on the veranda:)) The condo is very centrally located, and be prepared for temptations of the tummy,as Hagan Daz for the ice cream, is on your doorstep and such a good treat in the evening, before a walk on the promenade, just to set the scene!!! the promenade allows for exercise, but also romantic walks, and just family time together. Be sure to try Roti Hut!!!!as well for a lovely filling meal. The only downside for us was the wifi connection, which was really weak, and in order to get a connection we either had to use the wire connection or another network which wasn't locked!!! But all in all an excellent holiday, and great value for money, will definitely be booking here again, and would recommend to my friends.

  Where do I start?.... From the very beginning Nicole was very warm and patient. I asked Many questions almost every day before I booked our stay at the condo.Nicole always responded to my many e-mails promptly. She even accepted our payment through paypal which was extremely convienient. Sometimes when you arrive at your hotel/rental apt. one or two things may be a bit off. But, the condo was Exactly as described and the photos were spot on. The Kitchen was clean & Beautiful. There are new appliances and nice wall tiles. They obviously put alot of thought into decorating. When I opened the cabinets I thought I was at home. Anything & everything you could possibly need is there right down to the rolling pin and plastic wrap. The Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Each bedroom has plenty closet space, large dresser, and 32" flat screen television. The bathrooms were also clean & nice. The condo is in an Awsoe location. If you don't have a car... no problem.. the bus stop is only a few steps away from the front gate. The boardwalk is across the street where you can take a sunrise/sunset walk. There is a mini mall next door, restaurants and the famous St Lawrence Gap is less than 10 minutes away by car. The landscaping around Margate gardens is Beautiful. There are men working on the grounds everyday keeping it beautiful. The pool is right outside the back door. It is quiet & peaceful all the time and at night you will be serenaded by the crickets. Maid service is provided once a week and all cleaning supplies are provided for self service. The washer & dryer was a plus especially if your travelling with a child. We had a LAN & wireless internet connection so I could stay in touch with work which was Great. During our stay about 15 family members who were also vacationing with us stopped by and they were jealous.. Our condo was much nicer than their expensive hotel rooms. This Condo exceeded all expectations. I would definately stay here again & I've been telling everyone about this Condo since i've gotten back home. I have no real complaints. Only one suggestion. There is a really nice cross breeze and also alot of mosquitos. If you put screens on the windows and/or doors it would cut down on the A/C use when the doors & windows are closed. Thank You Nicole & Ray for providing us with a wonderful accomodation for our vacation. We'll see you next year!! J. Marshall

As you observed, I do take pride in my condo and appreciate your comments. I understand your suggestion about adding screens to the doors, but this would most likely reduce the lovely cross breeze that flows through the condo. Unfortunately mosquitoes are a way of life in the Caribbean and to address this, the unit does come with three electronic mosquito diffusers which repels mosquitoes for up to 12 hours at a time – (with each disposable refill).   My husband and I spent 5 days at #2 Margate Gardens – everything was great from the time we made our reservation to the time we left. Nicole, who handled our reservation, was warm, friendly and provided quality service. The condo was beyond our expectations – it was well appointed, clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more …. from beach chairs to paper towels. Its peaceful ambience yet close proximity to the beach, restaurants, etc. contribute to its high rating.
