  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marbella Club. The condo and grounds were spotless and the weather was great! The Ocean was a bit rough for swimming, and there was a lot of seaweed- but we could still cool off by the pools and enjoy the view. It was very quiet when we were there, which we enjoyed. It felt like we had the place to ourselves! The restaurants in Palma Nova Plaza were all great and there was a good variety. Overall a wonderful place to relax!

  The apartment is exactly as advertised: amazing view! And it has all the amenities you need for a perfect stay: kitchen appliances, towels, etc. The biggest unexpected treat were the sand toys and other games for kids. The Marbella Club is nice - a little remote and quiet but we didn't mind that at all for this trip. We had a great time - every morning to the pool, every afternoon to the beach. The restaurants within Palmas were ok - nothing amazing. We made two trips to Walmart and Ralphs for food over the course of the week and a couple trips to the grocery store within Palmas, so we were stocked up at home. We rented a golf cart and drove around te resort a bunch too. It's super fun and easy. Highly recommend for families with small children. The owner was a pleasure to deal with.

  I wouldn't change a thing about our fantastic family vacation. The apartment is both beautifully decorated and comfortable. Every time you look out the window it is a pleasant reminder that you are on vacation. The view is post card quality. Before you arrive the homeowner sends you very useful information that makes taking over the apartment a breeze. She has also compiled a notebook of fun things to do and good places to eat. While we were there we had a quick question. She answered my email immediately with a phone call. She was warm, gracious and helpful. We enjoyed staying "home" to swim in the ocean and ride horses on the beach. We also found the location perfect for trips to other places of interest on the island such as the caves, the rainforest, and San Juan.

  The owner calls the apartment “my little piece of paradise”, and this is the best description you can give. The apartment is very clean and stylish, and also very functional. You see that the owners have put a lot of love into it, it is not the kind of apartment that is un-personal and just there to be rented out. You find everything, from salt & pepper, cleaning supplies, toys for kids, a home cinema (projector instead of TV), beach toys, towels, etc etc etc. This makes your life pretty easy, you don’t have to buy everything on day 1 but can replace it during your vacation. They even offer to have someone buy some grocery before you arrive so you have breakfast in the morning. The balcony is huge, you can either relax on a couch or at a dining table. You can use the grill on the balcony or go to the pool and use one of those grills. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Every morning we took approx. 5 photos of it because we were so impressed with the view. Our kids loved the apartment, all 3 could sleep easily in the kids room. They loved to watch kid programs on a giant projected screen. The apartment complex is very well maintained, the pools & jacuzzi are just beautiful and about a 2 minute walk from the apartment (you can see it from your apartment). So is the distance to the beach. The beach (only the portion of Palmas del Mar) is approx. 1-2 miles long, and fully covered with beautiful palm trees. The water is calm and warm, so perfect for families. Next to the apartment complex is the “beach club”, approx. 5 minute walk on the beach. They have 2 nice waterslides and kids waterplay-areas, restaurant, bar, etc. You pay some money, but our kids loved it. Bring your own drinks, the service at the bar is terrible, but the drinks are good. The island has so much to offer, you can easily stay there for 2 weeks. The Palmas del Mal complex offers all kind of activities, golf, tennis, boat trips, horseback-riding, restaurants, shops and a small grocery store etc.We went on our own to the rainforest, to Culebra’s beautiful beach, to Luquillo Beach (good beach and interesting food places), and to San Juan (a must-see). We could have done plenty of other things but with kids- pool, beach, pool, beach, pool beach… We also felt pretty save. Palmas del Mar has security gates, so does each apartment complex. The owner was very very helpful and responsive (thanks again!!!). We hope that we can come back next Thanksgiving.

  I am not the type of person that typically writes reviews. I'm a physician in training and my time is limited. But I had to speak up here given that my vacation stay here was truly amazing. Condo owner took great care of us. She was responsive, courteous and always available. Her property is clean, full of technology (100" projector with Bose sound and DVD player with free cable), and located in the beautiful Palmas del Mar community. But the best aspect of all this was the view. Breathtaking! Waking up to waves only a few feet from our bedroom was rejuvenating. A great value and a definite winner. Will come back. This property has my full endorsement. Stay and you won't be disappointed. This package will take your breath away!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  My family spent a week in Palmas and we had a wonderful time. We rented property #409764 which is located in one of the more exclusive parts of the Palmas development. The water view was worth the extra cost. We enjoyed taking coffee in the morning, watching the waves and taking in the breeze. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner and the apartment is very beautifully furnished. I would recommend Palms and if available, I would stay in this apartment again.

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Located right on the second story over looking the ocean. The Mirbella resort was wonderful gated community. The condo was beautiful kept and had everything we needed: washer and dryer, air conditioning, projector TV, etc. They even provided a tour book to help us decide where to go to experience this great island.
