  I rented this house with ten of my friends for a fun snowboarding weekend for my 28th birthday. The house is beautiful and serenly located in the Pocono mountains. We all had a great time having "family meals" at the long kitchen table and enjoyed playing pool in the basement. Everyone slept comfortably and the house is conveniently located near Jack Frost, Big Boulder and Camelback ski resorts. The morning sunrise is beautiful off of the back deck and cozy for a hot tub sunset. We defintely plan on renting this house agian in the future. The owner is nice, flexible and responds quickly to any requests. I definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to have fun and feel at home.

  I rented this house for Memorial Day Weekend with a group of grad school friends and their children. This house easily accommodated the 7 adults in the group with rooms for the children on the lower level. The house itself is in excellent condition and nearly everything you might need is at hand - cooking wares, dishes, washer/dryer, dishwasher, grill etc. There's a great view over the gorge to small mountains in the distance from the deck and great room. Overall, the group was very happy with our rental. If only one thing could be corrected, it would be the steepness of the hill on route 940 nearby which made our morning runs more challenging then expected for a vacation trip ; )

  Just got back from a long weekend with our 2 children, their spouses and are 2 new (3months old) grandchildren. What a wonderful place to just kick back and visit. I think my daughter and daughter-in-law were in the cabin 5 minutes when they jumped into the hot tub! It was a chilly, rainy weekend but the sunrise over the gorge was still awesome and the hot tub is fun in the sun or the rain. A perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The cabin is great, it has everything and we felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful time for us to be together as a family.

  11 of us, warm July weekend. It was a bachelor party/reunion for the college gang. We enjoyed every aspect of the house...I'll just go ahead and list them. Good space on the driveway for parking. Then you walk into the Sierra Vista and it's spacious, clean, and welcoming. Air-conditioning available. We made full use of the refrigerator, freezer (with ice machine included), propane BBQ grill, stove, oven, cooking equipment, dishwasher, pool table, Amish table for card games, downstairs bar, and TVs. One of us even got into the hot tub on the deck. There's a firepit outside too. A dumpster for your trash is conveniently located just a few yards down the road. The house matches what you see in the pictures and the sleeping arrangements are very convenient. 3 levels and outdoor access from the bottom two. 3 excellent bathrooms too. We were able to give the bachelor his own queen bed and bathroom. Within 30 minutes to rafting and paintball. Within 10 minutes to a supermarket, pizza place, liquor store, gas station, and ice cream parlor. Not far off of Route 80. Nice scenic drives all around too. The owner is very courteous and accessible via email/phone. Thanks a lot Neil. We'll do our best to return soon.

  Hey Neil, My family and I would like to thank you for all your generosity you showed us during our stay. We all had a very relaxing yet fun filled week in your beautiful home.It was just so nice sitting on the back deck every evening after a long day of running around the area( bushkill, white water rafting, horseback riding,jim thorpe etc.) and just staring out over the "50 mile view" while our son cooked dinner on the grill every night!! We are definately going to return at some point in the future because it is so rare being able to find someone you can rely on to make your vacation a resounding success in every way!   Just spent this past weekend with 13 friends at the house and we had an amazing time! I would definitely recommend this house if you want to get away for a weekend and have a great time! The house had everything we needed, provided for us. We will definitely be going back as soon as possible!

  I recently spent a weekend there with 15 of my friends. The house is huge, plenty of room for everyone. Fire pit was amazing and house is gorgeous. I also must say the owner is a pleasure to deal with and the house keeping lady is a dear as well. Everytime I go to one of the owners houses, I always comeback and try to plan another trip. Love the house and definately look forward to returning soon

  This is an excellent place to stay! I rented Neil's cabin for a college reunion weekend and it was a great place to reunite with friends, relax and enjoy the surroundings. The cabin had plenty of room for our group of 13 and did not disappoint. The hot tub and pool table were great to have at our disposal and sitting on the deck and looking at the view is worth the price of admission. The town of white haven is not far at all which has a supermarket and other stores which makes it easy if you forget to bring something. The side yard has a fire pit which was great to use at night and relax outside. You will enjoy your stay at this wonderful cabin.

  Highly recommend staying at this house. The house was astonishing. The view off the deck was just amazing and has everything you could ask for in a vaction home. The house has a very nice inside with plenty of room. Great place to stay!

  We rented Neil's beautiful log cabin in early August to go whitewater rafting. It was everything we could expect. The view off the deck was great and well worth the trip. Everything inside is very nice and well kept. Neil was very easy to reach and was a pleasure to deal with. If we go rafting again we will definitely look at renting this house again.
