It was immaculate, so clean and wonderful. The decor was wonderful and tasteful, homey and inviting. Cindy, the owner, was also extremely helpful when it came to recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area, and made herself available to us during the entire stay. The activites on the property itself kept us more than occupied, for hours upon hours. Zip lining was a major hit, even for a house full of women. Accomodations were very comfortable and spacious. Oh!! And our favorite part was the Sonos sound system. It was nothing short of amazing, I'm looking in to installing one in my house. I have and will recommend this property to friends and family, and hope to visit again soon. Thank you!!   We had a wonderful experience in this absolutely lovely house during a recent family reunion. The house is beautiful and beautifully maintained. All of the listing information is completely accurate. The house is gorgeous and comfortable and we had a marvelous time there. It is just a couple of minutes by car to the beach and the town of Montecito as well as the freeway. The owners were a pleasure to work with and did everything possible to make sure we had a great experience in the house. I would enthusiastically recommend this property to anyone looking for a large house in this area.

  Our family of five, plus babysitter, enjoyed two great weeks in this lovely spot. The home is situated in a tranquil area of Montecito, but is minutes away from Coast Village (4 minutes), the "Upper Village (3 minutes)," East Beach, Butterfly Beach, the Zoo, Natural History Museum and Mission via the road along the "Riviera," etc. It's hard for me to imagine a better location, complete with mountain views and glimpses of the grounds of a couple grand old estates. Tastefully decorated, casual elegance, easy entertaining, swings and ziplines for the kids ... We could not have asked for more. Thank you, Hann family!

  My family and a few friends stayed at this wonderful home in July 2011. It is an amazing home with many different amenities that make it special. The house is quite large and there were fun things for everyone of all ages to enjoy. The kids rooms were fantastic and the master suite was simply stunning. Cindy was a wonderful source of information and she was very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. In fact, I hope that my family can stay there again in future.

  We stayed in Cindy's home this past July (2011) and had a wonderful time. The house is a great layout for multiple families with children. Our girls loved the rope swing and played on it for hours. We ate dinner outside most nights on tables in the yard with a view of the lush, green Santa Barbara hills. Everything in the house was high-end and perfect. The master suite downstairs is a room you won't want to leave. There were baskets of toys and board games for the kids and a well-stocked kitchen for the chefs. The house was large enough for everyone to find their own space to relax and unwind. CIndy gave us great pointers on restaurants and things to do in the area. Lotus Land is a must. I was not familiar with Santa Barbara, but the location was excellent. Near the zoo and S.B. itself - a lovely drive through the hills to the Mission. Definitely a beautiful spot for creating memories.

  Hi Cindy, I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your home. It was everything we hoped for and more, it was perfect for our family. The home is beautiful and comfortable with many amenities. The favorite for our granddaughters, and the rest of the family for that matter, was the rope swing; it got plenty of use. Jackie was delightful to work with and very helpful, it was nice to meet her personally. Our hope for you is that everyone that rents it treats it like it is their own, the furnishings and décor are lovely. If you decide to rent your home next summer, it is possible we might be interested in renting it for a longer period of time. I have no suggestions for improvement, as I mentioned, it was perfect!   We spent a wonderful week at this property during the last week of July. My husband and I were looking for a home with enough space for us, our two children, and his parents to vacation together. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. The upstairs of the home has tons of mid-century modern charm, beautiful views, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, and most important of all, plenty of space! We were able to have the whole family at the dining room table for dinner, then the adults could sit and talk in the living room, while the kids went to hang out in the family room at the other end of the house. The downstairs has an incredible master suite with its own patio outside of french doors, two cute bedrooms, and a bathroom. We took the master suite, our two kids took the downstairs bedrooms with a shared bath, and my husband's parents took a bedroom on the main level adjacent to the third bath, to minimize stairs. This worked perfectly, leaving the fourth bathroom on the main level free for guests, as well as another bedroom that remained vacant except for coat storage. You would easily have room for an additional couple/children without feeling crowded in the least. Now, describing the outside areas of this home truly save the best for last. With the surrounding trees, front yard swing, play structure, back yard swing, two ziplines, and general wandering area, this home is fantastic for kids. We loved all the outdoor seating and tables that were available for adults, but the kids were ecstatic! My teenager and my kindergartener both loved playing in the yard. We just enjoyed the serenity; watching birds and wildlife while drinking some nice bottles of wine. The owners, Robert and Cindy, went above and beyond to be helpful to us. They were responsive, willing to pass along local recommendations, and more than willing to assist us in any way they could to improve our stay. We received clear and simple paperwork to arrange the rental, and they quickly mailed the refund of our security deposit within days of our departure. We were extremely happy that our first experience with a rental on VRBO went so perfectly. We would highly recommend this vacation home rental. Definitely an A+! By the by info: a grocery store, drug store, and Starbucks are within a 5 minute drive. Going to the showgrounds, you can avoid freeways and take a gorgeous 15 minute drive (we saw deer) through some beautiful scenery instead.

  Thank you for your beautiful home! It had all the amenities we needed and was so much nicer than staying at a hotel with our big family. My husband had to promise me that one day I will have a master bath that big and beautiful! What a wonderful place you have, we'll be back next year.
