This one is our favorite!

We were so happy that we were able to stay on this beach once again! We stayed here three years ago in a house. When I searched online and found the Haleiwa Surf, I couldn't wait to get here once again! We've been to beaches on all other islands and this one is our favorite. We love that we can walk right out front and snorkel with the turtles. Your updated decor is beautiful and we hate to leave this little corner of paradise!

Beautiful Condo and great beach

My husband and I stayed four days in Waikiki and four days here in Haleiwa. We had a wonderful time in both locations and met so many people. Beautifully renovated condo, with a stunning sunset every night! The only thing that needs to updated is the mattress, very old and not comfortable with springs in your back. Everything is provided and very clean. I love the fact that everyone that lives their comes out for sunset dinners. It was such a nice feeling to be welcomed by them and anyone on the islands. My husband had surf lessons with Buttons the Pro Surfer, we swam with the sharks and had the best pizza at Spagettini. Next trip we would love to stay here again, so close to town. Thank you so much! Aloha

Wonderful time in Haleiwa

We had a wonderful time in Haleiwa. It was a short and relaxing vacation for two lovebirds. The condo is beautiful and we love the upgrades. Having two bahrooms is a bonus and the walks on the beach are lovely. Matsumotos shave ice is just around the corner for an afternoon treat that is so yummy and refreshing! Love it!

nice but some disappointments

This was our 3rd trip to Hawaii, first time on the North Shore (previously Kona and Kapaa). We (family with 2 kids ages 7 and 11) stayed here for 6 days and I'd rate it a 3.5. The condo was as pictured, nicely remodeled with ceiling fans in the living area and bedroom, and a short walk across the lawn to the beach (though there is another building in the same complex that is practically right on the beach). The grounds were well kept, and coin op laundry on site was nice. However, 1.5 stars come off for inadequate kitchen cooking utensils (there were a couple cheap plastic ones that could not withstand the heat generated by the cookware) and lack of basic condiments, eg salt, which made cooking in not attractive, no indoor dining seating for 4 (would be nice for a place that accommodates 2 to 5 to have seating for that number without having to go out to the lanai), building renovations going on outside on second and third floor lanais which had heavy machinery running from 9 am to 5 pm on the weekdays (and it was LOUD and smelly with the exhaust wafting around; especially since the open air design of the condo windows did not allow blockage of any of this) preventing any peaceful relaxation during the day inside the condo (admittedly not the condo's fault but not good for us), and lastly NO promised fresh flowers, handmade soap or boogie boards! The master bath was not draining when we arrived, we called Jill twice and she came by the next day with a plumber to remedy that (and she brought us Dial soap, not quite the handmade soap that others raved about, but at least we could stop using our son's Wild Watermelon kid wash). Haleiwa itself was wonderful, slow paced with friendly locals. The town was a short drive away; we tried several different shave ice places and thought Aloha General Store had the best one though not as many flavors as Matsumoto's. We tried the shrimp trucks of both Giovanni's and Blue Water, both good, but Blue Water had the advantage of being 2 minutes from the condo and had other fare too, such as steak and pork chops. Malawa market in town had everything we needed especially with not cooking much. We found delicious butter mochi at Malawa's, but don't try to bring any home like we did, just not the same! Don't miss the three local farmer's markets; we got sweet pineapple and papaya, beautiful photographic prints and clothing with local artist's artwork on it. Despite some disappointments, a Hawaiian vacation can never be bad!

Amazing beach front stay!

Guest: The Drosendahls, Colorado

Thank you! We wanted a beach front stay in a quiet beach community at an affordable price for our family. Condo 108 has got the job done! Great location-walk on the beach, short drive to town, to the falls, bottom fishing, surf lessons, snorkeling with the turtles right out front! Sunrise coffee, sunset walks, grilling and eating fresh local food on the back patio! An amazing five days.

Upgraded, open and airy...

Guest: Brent and Diane, Colorado

Thank you for the lovely flowers. The plumeria was delightful! The remodel is fantastic! We have visited in many of these condos over the years, and found this upgrade to be so open and airy. We love the location of this condo, right on the beach and a short walk to town. We always visit the Farmer's Market in Waialua on Wednesdays. For those who love the sun, sand, and sea, it doesn't get much better than this!

We really enjoyed our stay here in Haleiwa and the North Shore, the laid back atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Just an amazing place to spend our 5th wedding anniversary. We loved all the beaches, swimming with the turtles. The condo itself is beautiful and had everything we needed. Looking forward to coming back again! Mahalo

Perfectly situated!

Our stay at Haleiwa Surf is coming to an end, but we're looking forward to returning! Jill and the community here at Haleiwa Surf have been terrific to our family - such nice people. #108 is perfectly situated for our 2yr old to run around safely. In town, we like the Grass Skirt Grill, Lui-Buenos, and Cholos for dinner. The beach here is our favorite, gentle, protected and so lovely! Aloha!
