Welcome to Ocean Lakes Family Resort - a huge, self contained, year-round village that's practically a vacation in and of itself. This 310 acre facility, with security on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, contains a heated pool, olympic size pool, two kiddie pools, splash zone for kids, basketball courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, putt putt golf, horseshoes, playgrounds and video arcade for the kids.
There is also a post office, snack/ice cream shop, gift shop, bike rentals, nature trails, and 5 freshwater lakes for fishing. A spacious recreation center offers programs for adults and children throughout the year. Kamp Starfish, held during the summer months is for ages 4-11, and offers crafts, beach games, nature activities, fire truck rides, circus acts, magic shows, stories and music. Adults will enjoy special entertainment, dances, crafts, bingo and theme parties.
The nature center provides educational displays and exhibits on marine life. Church services are held on Sunday in the rec-center. The multi-level observation deck and concession area gives guests a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean with adequate seating and picnic tables for lunches and snacks.
Have the family vacation of a lifetime in this beautiful, new, seven bedroom, three bath home. Only steps from the beach you will find our home(Lot #1033)located in the Holiday Inn Section. You may be on vacation but you will feel at home in this fully-equipped, beautifully decorated home. The decor is bright and clean with brand new furnishings and ceiling fans in each room. The lower level deck wraps around to both sides.
There is an outdoor dining table, gas grill and plenty of seating. The upper decks are uncovered and have access doors to four of the upstairs bedrooms. There is also covered parking for up to 4 vehicles. This vacation home will comfortably accommodate a total of 14 people. The theme bedrooms create an atmosphere for relaxing. The main level has two bedrooms and a full bath. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed.
The second floor consists of 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms with queen size beds. There is also 2 full baths on the second level. The living room is fully equipped with cable TV and DVD/VCR combo. Additional amenities include cable TV in all bedrooms, central air, outside private shower with hot and cold water, outdoor grill, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.
Just minutes away from Ocean Lakes, you can enjoy all of the entertainment Myrtle Beach is FAMOUS for such as 100 Golf Courses, fishing, boating, water parks, jet skiing, parasailing, shopping, restaurants, live theaters, and, of course, nightlife!

Your house is beautiful and has a perfect location. We made quick friends with the neighbors and had a direct outlet to the beach. Thank you for the trust you provided us in renting us your home. About the owner: Welcome to our home! We are the Shaffer's. We are natives of Virginia but love the Warm Weather, Sun and Fun in the South. Please come and stay with us. We would love to have you as our guest.
Why the Owner Chose Holiday Inn (900, 1000, 1100) Section:
For years we traveled the East Coast in our motor home visiting various resorts. While traveling south to Florida we decided to take a detour to Ocean Lakes for the night. We loved the community so much that we decided to sell the RV and purchase a vacation home with an ocean view.

Your stay at Ocean Lakes is like being in an all inclusive resort. The property is well maintained with plenty of amenities. We enjoy early morning coffee on the upper deck while watching the ocean. Nothing beats a golf cart ride at night through the community. There are plenty of people to watch and friends to meet. You can enjoy fishing in fresh water lakes and swimming in beautiful pools. How about a game of putt putt or horse shoes. You can always walk to the Sandy Mart for supplies or enjoy an ice cream at the snack bar. Our home is close to all that Myrtle Beach has to offer.
