El Zalate condominiums are located on the white sand beaches of the Playa Costa Azul just outside of San Jose del Cabo!
Our fourth-floor unit has magnificent views of the ocean from every room, through glass doors that lead to a spacious terrace overlooking the two pools and Jacuzzi. The huge terrace is furnished with comfortable chaises longues for resting, a full-size gas barbecue, as well as table and chairs for outdoor dining.
Inside, you'll find an apartment beautifully furnished in Mexican-style, with two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, and the other with two double beds. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The fully appointed kitchen includes granite counter tops.
Our location is ideal, walk out the door, head downstairs, and you are at the pool or beach, ready to swim, walk, or try your luck at fishing from the shore. World-class golf, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, or whale watching are only minutes away. Easy access to grocery stores and the wonderful restaurants of San Jose, with Cabo San Lucas just 20 minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose El Zalate
We first visited San Jose del Cabo for a winter vacation on the recommendation of friends who owned a golf course condo in this area and loved the place and the people. We immediately fell in love with San Jose and Los Cabos and decided to look for a beach front condo We originally were attracted to these condos because the developer was a Canadian, like us, with a track record of good construction. We talked with other Canadians and Americans who had purchased and were convinced that this development was the right one for us. My wife and I love to walk on the beach mornings and evenings and we both swim in the ocean right in front of our condo. We wanted a family oriented development with direct beach access and El Zalate is perfect.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We enjoy the pools and hot tub, our own private built in barbecue on the terrace, having both sun and shade on our terrace all day long, and the fantastic views from our condo. In addition, we enjoy meeting the other owners as well as the visiting guests who rent at El Zalate. We love exploring the surrounding area and trying out new restaurants. We enjoy the quiet atmosphere of El Zalate, and the easy access to Todo Santos and Cabo San Lucas.

We purchased our El Zalate condo on New Year's Day, 1999, while vacationing in Los Cabos. My wife and I are government employees in northern Canada and wanted a vacation home on the water with reliably sunny and warm weather for winter visits and eventual retirement use. My wife is an educator so we are currently limited to Christmas and spring break visits. We love the people, the area, and our condo development, which is fully owned by American and Canadian citizens, some of whom live at El Zalate year round while others visit for only a portion of the year. We enjoy beach walks, golf, fishing, visiting art galeries, and the laid back atmosphere of San Jose del Cabo. I read more books while at our Mexican home than I do the rest of the year. We have decorated and furnished our home for our own use, not as a rental, and enjoy sharing it with others and hearing how much they too love El Zalate and San Jose del Cabo
