Review Submitted April 13, 2011 Date of Stay March 14, 2011 Our time in Tucson was an all around excellent experience. The owner of the condo was a pleasure to talk to, from the first contact through to our departure. We found the condo to be exactly as described and was clean, comfortable and fully equipped with far more extra's than I was expecting. It has a great floor plan and spacious enough for two couples. It was nice to be able to see the pool area (a portion of) from the patio and we really appreciated the short walk to the pool and fitness centre. The entire complex was clean and well maintained. Noise was never an issue any time of day or night. The location is ideal with a grocery store and several restaurants nearby. The best gem is having Sabino Canyon so close by for that morning hike/walk. We also enjoyed Mount Lemmon, golfing, Catalina State Park, Senora Desert Museum and San Xavier Mission. While the women enjoyed some shopping the guys went to Pima Air & Space Museum and Titan Missile Museum. We were fortunate to have perfect weather for our entire time in Tucson so almost every day we made good use of the pool area. We found Tucson to be an easy city to get around, although a GPS is always helpful. There is so much more to see and do in Tucson, we'll have to come back again. Review Submitted November 3, 2011 Date of Stay October 24, 2011 We had a great stay in Deborah's unit in The Pinnacle Canyon Condominiums. The unit is clean and well-furnished, the beds are comfortably firm, and there is plenty of water pressure. Wireless internet and cable TV both work well. Deborah answered all our questions promptly and was very professional to deal with. We loved the pool area; it has beautiful landscaping and super comfortable lounge chairs. There are shade trees as well as palm trees, a large lighted gazebo with a ceiling fan, a huge outdoor fireplace with couches and easy chairs, and two barbeque pits. The pool itself has fountains along one side and the hot tub was nice and warm. (This complex appears to have more verdant landscaping than others we saw. In fact, from the satellite view of Google Maps, it's the only green area for miles around.) You have to enter the complex through the gate on Sunrise Drive, but you can exit through the gate on Territory Drive to easily reach the shopping area next door. There is a Basha's (similar to Safeway), Subway, Papa John’s Pizza, and six or seven sit-down restaurants. Highlights of our trip include: the tram ride up the Sabino Canyon Trail, view of the sunset from Gates Pass in Tucson Mountain Park, the Flaundrau Planetarium and Mineral Museum, and Tohono Chul Park. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous and we spent a lot of time driving around the foothills.
