I would highly recommend Bear Creek Cabin as it exceeded my expectations. The pictures don't do the cabin adequate justice as it is first class accomodations all the way. The kitchen is stocked with high-end plates, glasses, utensils and everything you need if you want to prepare meals with everything you would expect and more. The granite countertops and wood flooring are gorgeous and are warm and inviting. The cabin was super, super clean and very well appointed. The decorating in the cabin has a wonderful country theme that is meticulously followed throughout and it makes you feel relaxed and right at home. The chairs and couches are classic and very comfortable, plenty of light and a space for everyone whether it's watching tv, playing games or surfing the internet with a cozy desk and chair in the upstairs nook. The master bedroom is spacious and well decorated with a large walk-in closet and the master bathroom is a treat as it is absolutely gorgeous. The location is private and quiet but you have homes within 100 yards so you feel safe. You can sit or swing on the front porch or relax in the screened in porch for seclusion as well. The 9,000 acre Bid Canoe resort is beautiful and well maintained and you have access to restaurants and grocery stores within 15 minutes driving time. It's a wonderful place that's quiet and peaceful if you're interested in kicking back and relaxing. My family of seven was spread out and extremely comfortable and we had a terrific stay. This isn't an infomercial and I'm not being compensated for this review - it's simply a thank you to the owners for being super responsive to our needs. They not only answered every question we had but were very helpful in sharing local information about the area that enabled my family to enjoy many local experiences that we wouldn't have. I would highly recommend Bears Creek Cabin!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
