What a great place to stay!

Me and my wife went up to this cabin in October and with so many places to choose from, we were blessed to find this location. This is a great place to stay for a vacation, way up in the mountains. Extremely clean and neat. We went up to Brasstown Bald (got great pictures) and the Georgia Mountain Festival and had a blast! The owners are extremely nice and helpful (i.e. if you need a map or directions, places to eat). The location is perfect for anybody looking for convenience to Young Harris, Brasstown Bald, Hiawassee, and North Carolina. Very private, secluded, and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great place to kick back and relax. We will be back shortly!

This place is fantastic! Fresh and clean, no smells, great bed and comfortable fold out sofa. The decor is very attractive and the giant flat wide screen tv in the living room is a treat, also the flat screen in the bedroom is nice. The front porch offers privacy as you sit in the big rocking chairs and surf the internet on the "WIFI" while taking in the fresh mountain air. The only thing is I wish we could stay longer. I would highly recommend this for anyone to stay at. Thanks Matt for your hospitality, you have been very helpful to us and we appreciate everything done for us. Thank you!

Excellent Stay!! The cabins were extremely clean and cozy. Matt was there to welcome us as soon as we got there. Just like other guests have said, the cabins are close to town, but are just far enough to give you that privacy. Definately will be staying again!! THANKS!

My husband and I can honestly say that our stay during Christmas of 2010 couldnt have been any better. This was our FIRST 'cabin-rental-experience' and it was wonderful. The cabin was SPOTLESS, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The kitchen had every thing that you would have in your own kitchen and then some. The bathroom was a delight, as we are used to hotel bathrooms, and there was nothing 'hotel' about this one. I can honestly say that we couldnt have found any faults if we had tried. Everything is well supplied, from the clean, soft towels, plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, foil, dish soap, paper towels, to the coffee, wireless and satellite TV - we lacked for nothing. The comfort level could easily make it a place where you would want to stay longer than just a week. The owners were so nice, helpful in every way, accessible if we needed them, and the property was very peaceful and quiet. When we got there on Christmas Day, we promptly got snowed in and it was a delight, a dream property in a dream situation. :) And I can imagine it will be just as delightful visiting in the Spring, Summer or Fall. We have heartily recommended the property, area, owners, price and everything about it to many people since our return home, and will continue to do so. Thank you, Matt & Melissa, for making our first 'cabin-rental' experience such a JOY!! :)

My girlfriend and I stayed here between Christmas and new Years for 2 days. I simply can't speak highly enough about this place. First, Matt, the owner, was absolutely fantastic in handling all of the details and made it a very easy registration process. The normal price to stay here is 85$ a night peak season. Off season the price is $60 a night that starts on Jan. 1st. He charged us the $60 price even though the off peak season hadn't started yet. Finding this place was very easy. From Atlanta downtown it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive through the mountains and the drive is simply amazing. take your camera. When we drove in to the cabin area, Matt came up behind us and got us settled in. These cabins are quite possibly the most amazing place I have ever stayed at. Simply gorgeous, quiet, secluded, yet only 10 minutes from Young harris and Hiawassee. Also, 10 minutes the other direction is Crane Creek vineyards, which if your interested in wine, you have to visit. Staying here, if you were to live here, you literally only need to bring your clothes and food and you literally wouldn't want for anything. Matt and his wife have simply thought of everything for these cabins. Everything was gorgeous, and tastefully done. Our cabin was a bear theme. All the things they have put in this place was not skimped on in any way. The pot and pan set was wolfgang puck, just to tell you about the quality of this place. They have a 37" HDTV and dvd player along with Dish satellite. We took our Roku box along so we could watch Netflix and Matt even had component cables already wired into the TV. All we had to do was plug it in and go. Oh, they have wireless internet for your laptop, all free of charge. The only thing we had to do was buy an extension cord to reach the outlet. So if you you stay in the middle cabin, there should be the cord in a kitchen drawer. Ciomparing this place to all the other places we looked at, you simply can't find a better deal. Price, location and everything included, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a couple days in the mountains. I know my girlfriend and I will definitely be back. Without a doubt.

I just stayed about two months at Countrytime Cabins and I couldn't have had a better stay. Matt & Melissa keep the cabins absolutely immaculate and they've thought of everything in terms of your needs as a guest (kitchen items, linens, Internet, HD Dish TV, DVD player) and the overall presentation/decoration of the cabins. I remember several instances in the kitchen of, "oh, there's not a ______," only to find what I needed moments later. It's really as good as the photos, and the grounds are similarly maintained to perfection. Matt & Melissa are around whenever you need them, and not around when you don't need them. Upon arrival, Matt sketched out a map of the area and immediately made us feel welcomed and at home in our new surroundings. Highly recommended--you simply can't go wrong (especially with no cleaning charges, which are often way overpriced).

What a great blessing from God to be able to stay in this wonderful place and be able to enjoy the beauty of all His creation! We just spent the weekend here while getting our daughter settled in Young Harris College and this place was immaculate. The owners were so welcoming to us and we can't wait to go back again and know for a fact that we will come here very often for the next 4 years while she is in college. The cabins were so quiet and secluded, yet just 5 miles from Young Harris College, not to mention the fact that when you are coming down the road from the cabin, the mountain views are Absolutely Amazing. To put icing on the cake, so to speak, each and every individual that we came in contact with in the town of Young Harris, Hiawassee, and even in North Carolina were so incredibly nice to us. We were just amazed all weekend long and felt as if we had been in this area all of our lives. I can't say enough about this place or this weekend. Thanks so much for your Southern Hospitality!!! This cabin has all the comforts of home -- and then some! It's in pristine condition and it's quite obvious that Matt and Co. take GREAT care of the property. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, and I can't wait to go back in the summer to get away from the South Florida heat and humidity! Perfect for a romantic getaway or a much-needed break from the "real world." Next time I'll bring the girlfriend, though -- not the dog. Wink!
