Come and get away from it all at Mountain Peek cabin. This chalet-type cabin with two story plus ceilings and exposed beams gives a very open, inviting feeling. Large floor to ceiling windows take in the breath-taking year round views of the mountains. Located on a ridge, watch the sun come up on the back deck, or the sunset on the screened-in side deck. Or from the reclining lazy boy chair in the great room. OR from the hot tub on the back deck.
Everything is provided...just pack some groceries and a toothbrush. All the conveniences of your own home...plus DVD player. A library of movies and books will keep you entertained, as well. Two queen sized beds sleep four comfortably, plus two sleeper sofas, one in the additional loft, off from the second bedroom upstairs, allows sleeping for a maximum of eight.
This charming community is only 90 minutes from Atlanta, highway all the way, until you come to Sisson's Cherry Log. Drive over the covered bridge, the railroad tracks (and be sure to take the train ride to McCaysville, too) and then you're only five minutes up the mountain to the cabin.
Be sure and check out the five lakes found in the community and lots of hiking opportunities, just a short walk from the front door. Also enjoy the restaurants, shopping, theatre, rafting, biking, etc., all just minutes in either direction of the cabin.

We had an awesome long weekend at Mtn Peek! The full moon over the mountains our first night was gorgeous. Sitting on the porch in the evenings was so enjoyable. Thanks, Lance and John, for an unforgettable stay!

Mtn Peek has been a great home base for our trip. It was a short trip to the Ocoee Whitewater Center and the Amicalola Falls State Park. It was nice to have a hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking. We really enjoyed exploring the trail right here on your mountain. The recreational chapel on the pond was a nice surprise that we almost missed. No bear sightings but we did meet a very nice dog named Fred who lives just down the road.

What a wonderful way to get away from it all...We had a quiet restful hint away from the usual stuff that crowds our lives. Thanks for letting us book on such short notice...it is a great little cabin . Just at the right size for us....Diesel the basset hound, enjoyed it too!

Thank you for sharing your little slice of Mountain Peek with us. It was hard to do anything but sit on the deck and absorb the view or soak in the hot tub. We truly got a sampling of the mountain weather......some snow, some sun...There is trully no place like Blue Ridge. We'll be back again soon ....thank you again, for your hospitality.

We had printed up directions to waterfalls in the area and had talked about all that we could do up here, but once we got settled in, we didn't want to leave!
