Hey...Had a wonderful time here and hope to come back soon. First time seeing mountains and hard to believe slept on one....LOL. Wish we could've checked out more sights around here but we'll have a lot of fond memories of this beautiful place. This Louisiana bayou boy will not know how to act getting back on flat ground without ears popping. "Yeah, and we did talk to and pet Fred!"

We had an amazing time staying in your cabin. This was actually a surprise for me from Lauren and it was well worth it. The scenery was great from the deck and the cabin was extremely cozy. We even caught a glimpse of the infamous Fred howling outside our window one morning. Overall, this is a beautiful place and I can't wait to come back and spend some more relaxing weekend with the love of my life. Thanks for everything!

We loved the scenery and view from the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub. We did not enjoy the banging on the roof all night, so we couldn't sleep. (Rain and tin roof.) All in all we had a good time. Thank you fo letting us stay at your mountain house...It was very cute and nice..Most of all we had a the best time outside in front and watching our dog play. Thank you!

We had a long weekend at the cabin, location, view from cabin was good. Few things I want to mention for future guests: the beds were very uncomfortable, we had a back pain after sleeping all 3 nights, also the linens were all in delipidated stages. I would wash or change the mats on the dining table also. So over all I would rate this cabin as 3 star.

Most of our inquiries come from VRBO.com and Home Away.com....and would definitely recommend them to other home owners who are looking to set up a rental program. I'm glad you all were able to enjoy our wonderful mountain views. THAT's what its all about in my opinion when I travel to the cabin. I pull out my binoculars (which are available for renters too) and look for wildlife, deer, birds, etc...especially in the mornings with coffee. Also, we enjoy going into town and walking through the antique shops and furniture stores as well. We found the rustic split log bed (which is brand new by the way) at a local merchants....It really sets the tone for a quaint log cabin in the mountains. As you will see, looking at all the reviews, we have had many(many)happy renters over the years and several returns as well. Your comfort and satisfaction is our utmost concern. Hope to see you again on the books in the future!

Wow! What a way to spend a honeymoon! After getting lost in the mountains after midnight Saturday, we finally arrived at Mountain Peek. Didn't see much upon arrival, but after sleeping half the day away on Sunday we were able to see the beautiful view. This not being my first time in the Blue Ridge area, I knew my way around town. We spent time driving around on Sunday and enjoyed the jacuzzi. Loved the fireplace....so cozy. Monday we had a big breakfast and then took a walk. We did not meet Fred the dog or see a bear. Althouhg I wanted to do both. We went shopping and some more sight seeing...and then rested on the porch and in jacuzzi one last time. Thank you for letting us spend our honeymoon here.

Thank you for a lovely stay at your cabin. We have often stayed in the mountains after our week on the beach in South Carolina. This year we opted to stay on both sides of that week. What a great idea! We were able to relax but stays and explore at our leisure. We tubed the Toccoa (highly recommend) and did a Zip Line (lots of fun but expensive!)

Thank you moth so much for providing this awesome escape. The cabin is well appointed with everything we could need for a releaxing stay. Everything was so peaceful and quiet. Went to Blue Ridge and had a really yummy lunch at Harvest Restaurant.. This was our first stay at Mountain Peek, but hopefully not the last. We thoroughly enjoyed the very pleasant surroundings and thank our providers for thoughtfully and tastefully making us feel very welcome. The view, the hot tub, the blazing color in the forest, and not least, Fred the redbone hound who greeted us daily and howled heartily for our dog Mindy to come and frolic in the woods. We discovered many trails and lakes to explore, and all the neighbors we met were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I hope to return to relive our restful and uplifting experience soon again.

Fall colors were wonderful despite. 2 days of rain and fog. The cabin was well stocked and everything worked extremely well. We had a great week antiqueing and enjoying some cool weather. We even made it up the mountain in the dark!

We had a pretty good stay here...I think our two dogs enjoyed in the most!! Hot tub is convenient, but make sure you check temperature and water level before attempting to get in (takes awhile). Enjoyed firplace and spacious living room. PS....There are also several small lakes/ponds. You can fish around the mountain...everybody is so friendly. We love Fred the hound dog! LOL!

Lance and John....WE enjoyed the cabin and hot tub. We had some adventurous day. If you want adventure, go see the Swinging Bridge. Take a truck or SUV. WE took a car (ha, ha). Go all the way through "Aska", take a right, then go until it ends...take another right. Go about 1 or 2 miles and you will see a dirt road to the right, go about 3 miles or 4 miles down dirt road. Park your car and walk. It was beautiful..Go to Amicalola Falls, get ready to was 425 steps....Go toward Ellijay take 52 to left and follow signs...There is a trail down this Mountain by the bridge look for White signs on trees....Hope you'll enjoy!

Within one hour of unlocking door on day one, went out for a walk to meet a bear lumbering across the road. Weather was gorgeous! Ate outside in twon for lunch and at Toccoa Riverside for dinner. HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED (Harvest on Main, Toccoa Riverside and Danielle's.)

We have been in the Georgia area for two days now and they were filled with rain and more rain. We were staying at a camp site near here (the cabin). We thought camping then relax(ing) in a cabin would be perfect, but once we pulled up to the cabin we knew our 2 nights of rain and sleeping in the van paid off! So far this has been wonderful comfort and is something John and Lance have brought to this cabin. We can't wait for the next 3 nights in mountain bliss!...
