Wonderful lake front with panoramic views of Lake Memphremagog on the north side to Canada and on the south side to Newport, Vermont.
Ten acres of privacy and road to dead end with own private, sandy beach and cooling deep waters.
master suite with own propane fire place with french doors opening to wrap around deck and overlooking wonderful view.
French sliding doors opening to the wrap around deck facing magnificent views of Canada and Vermont and of coarse, Magog.
We also have available for our guest by popular demand, kayaks, canoes and a small boat rental. The bed in master bedroom is a queen size and up through the spiral staircase is a full size bed and a twin.
This cottage has many windows to enjoy the 180 degree views of the lake. On the wrap around deck there is picnic furniture to sit on and take up all the sights with a cool drink while waiting for the delicious meal to cook on the grill. There is also a wonderful fire pit down besides the deck to cook s'mores and stay toasty on those cool evenings. North Point provides a 20 foot awning to keep in the shade on those hot days, ceiling fans and air conditioner or better yet the cooling waters of Magog to swim in those muggy days.
There is kayaking, canoeing, pantooing or fishing those small mouth or rock bass, perch, trout and salmon to name a few. There is also shopping, antiquing, restaurants and more.
There is Newport Country Club and Jay Peak for golfing, there is also tennis.
On sundays one can kayak, canoe or take a boat ride and dock at the East Side Restaurant for a wonderful brunch. The Jay Lodge at Jay village has a wonderful restaurant with delitious tasting morsels and to shed off a few pounds one has the bike trails on the west side of the lake.
The Autumn colors are a sight to luxuriate in and the air is fresh and crisp. There is hiking, walking, fishing just to name a few of the things to do or you can just sit on the deck with a toasty fire and a hot toddy to warm you up.
Winter and spring months North Point can only accommodate 2 guests.
The separate little cottage that we use in the summer and fall months is closed for the winter and spring because we rent it as a large and very comfortable lake shanty in those months.
Winter by the lake is ethereal for it freezes completely over.
There is down hill skiing on three major mountains, cross country skiing, ice fishing for the hardy, ice skating and of coarse the V.A.S.T trails for the snowmobilers.

We have enjoyed our week here. You trully have a beautiful, serene, peaceful place and it was ideal for all of us, (dogs and kids). We had a great time fishing, making campfires and just being able to relax and let the dogs and kids experience the freedom of the outdoors. We look forward to coming again. Nicole, Benny, Dakota, Taylor and the dogs

What a great place! It was a much needed break for the 3 of us. Living in an apartment in the city, there's not a ton of places where we can let Haley run loose. She truly had a blast- and it was great to watch her play in the water. Thanks for everything Elizabeth, Rick and Haley PS We look forward to coming again - hopefully for longer!

What a wonderful week! Despite raining nearly every day we were here, our spirits were not dampened! This is a beautiful, serene setting and we feel lucky to have stayed here. Our dogs too! We swam, kayaked, played cards, frisbee and whiffle ball, and made some great camp fires. Thank you for letting us share your camp! Marc and Sarah and Haley and Ernie too!

What a delight this week was! North Point truly feels like its own little world, and we couldn't have loved it any more. We fished, boated, barbqd (alot!) and relaxed outside as much as we could. We will definetly be back- hopefully when the weather is a bit more cooperative! and of coarse next year to check out the new bedroom :) Thank you for a delightful excape, see you soon. Elizabeth and Jeremy

We had perfect weather while we were here. Warm and sunny days led to cool star filled nights. This escape from work and the busy lives we lead reminded us of the great things the outdoors provide us with if we only stop and pause. We felt like we were in our own little paradise surrounded by trees, water and the animals that quietly moved about without notice. We'll pass on the great pictures we took throughout our stay. Especially the ones that testify to our enjoyment here on the lake Memphre! Your new friends, Leanne, Scott and Patrick
