This house was absolutely perfect for our 80 year old mother and six middle aged couples. The size and separate bathrooms allowed activity to occur throughout the house without interfering with each other. The spacious living room and dining area provided a central gathering place. The balcony was an excellent location to view the ocean and beach. The sunrises / sunsets were gorgeous. Our whole family enjoyed our stay so much that everyone is talking about making this an annual event - in this house!! On a critical note: The house need to to be sprayed more often for bugs. Several of the chairs need to be repaired - coming a part. The paint in room and trim need to be repainted. Kitchen pans need to be replaced. The refrigerator alarm went off often.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

Hello! Just a note to inform you we all had an exceptional stay at 1111 E Artic in Folly. The house is perfect for young and old and the porches to the ocean were a huge meeting spot. We felt blessed to all be together is such a gorgeous setting. Once again, thank you for an enjoyable stay. We loved the cute downtown, tried several restaurants and walked the pier each day. Very relaxing! Also a special note--we met your cleaning ladies on the way in---they were so very sweet. We knew we were about 1/2 early and they were nice enough to allow us to sit on the porch. We were grateful after our long drive. Hopefully we will work with you again one day! Nancy

Just in case the review didn’t post………………….thanks again for all your help……….. Rated 5 Excellent! Being 3rd generation "Summer Gulf Goers", our plans were put on hold this summer by the oil incident. With four children howling for the sand, I came across Megan on VRBO. With Megan's help and a little luck, we were able to set something up on short notice that would fit our already set vacation schedule. Ten hours from Mississippi was a pretty good run but WELL worth it. Loggerhead on Folly beach was perfect! Located right on the beach, the spacious two story house met our needs and then some. The home's decor was beautiful from the hardwood floors throughout to numerous bedrooms, each adorned in their own personality. When not on the beach, with the numerous tv's and access to high-speed internet, everyone seemed to be able to find their pleasure whether inside or out reading on one of the two back balconies overlooking the ocean. Shopping for supplies was very convenient along the Folly Beach road. The older girls enjoyed the local boat guide out to an island for a 3 mile bike ride gathering shells and another day of kayaking, as me and the young guys enjoyed historical downtown Charlestown, White Point Park, Sullivan's island, the forts, and the Yorktown. This was one of our most memorable vacations and we do hope to be back. Our thanks to Megan for helping us pull this off.

We had a blast! The house was everything that was described and more. Everyone in the family was very impressed! My 83 year old mother benefited from the elevator and having her bedroom on the main level with the kitchen, den, and porch. The ladies and even the guys marveled at the kitchen! We got together to celebrate my mother's birthday and visit my nephew at the Citadel. He thoroughly enjoyed having such a comfortable place to hang out away from school for a few hours. He has requested that we go back every year and stay in this same fantastic house. We got fresh shrimp from Crosby's and made low country boil. We rode into Charleston on Saturday for the parade at the Citadel and enjoyed eating at California Dreamin' on the water. Some of us were able to walk to the pier and shop in the unique shops of Folly Beach. We will definitely plan more trips to this wonderful paradise and would recommend it to all our family and friends. Thank you so much for the awesome accommodations!
