Enjoy a fun and peaceful Georgia Mountain Retreat in this beautiful new cabin, situated on three lovely and private wooded acres. It is located in Blairsville, Georgia and just south of Murphy, North Carolina off Highway 19/129. All paved roads lead to the cabin and there is easy access to surrounding areas to fully enjoy your Blue Ridge Mountain vacation!
This home is newly furnished in a contemporary-cabin style and large windows throughout let nature in for a special "treehouse in the woods" feeling! It has two bedrooms and two baths, one each on the main floor and spacious loft, with comfy queen-size beds. There is an additional sleeping area in the side loft room as well as a queen sofa in the living room. It is ready to accommodate all of your needs with complete kitchen and bath supplies and linens, washer and dryer, ping-pong table in the basement, gas grill and a cozy wood-burning fireplace.
Relax on the wrap-around porch, walk and explore the woods, invite the deer and birds for a visit...and you may never want to leave for other mountain adventures! But if you do, plenty of adventure awaits you. Hiking, boating and fishing, water sports, scenic mountain drives, horseback riding, mountain biking...are all just a few minutes away. Enjoy browsing the shops and markets for local Appalachian arts and crafts, antiques, seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Every season here at the Georgia Mountain Retreat is special; spring bursting with wildflowers, cool starry-summer nights, richly colored autumns, sunny and crisp winter days...you'll want to come again to experience it all!
We have weekly and monthly specials. There is a three night minimum stay. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have a special request, we'll make our best effort to accommodate you!

We really enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was nice and clean and the deer, turkeys and fox were a bonus., We had a lovely time and hope to return next year.

We had a Great time. The cabin is in a perfect location, Watch the deer in the yard both morning and night, whether eating breakfast, lunch or dinner on the wrap around porch. If you want to tube Quietly leisurly(Pappy's) or hectic fun(Helen) they are both there within short driving distance. The only thing Bad that I can say about the cabin ..... Not enough time left on my vacation to stay a few more days. P.S. My wife says that we will be going back if for nothing more than the comfy beds.

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone. It is in a beautiful location, off the beaten path and very clean. The kitchen was more than sufficient to cook our Thanksgiving feast. The owner was very pleasant and prompt. I'm looking forward to returning as soon as I can!

We stayed at this lovely cabin in October 2006 and it was absolutely beautiful. The cabin feels like home and the housekeeping is meticulous. The owner is accomodating and has thought of everything to make your stay special. The property is beautiful and secluded but yet within a short distance of Blairsville or Murphy, NC. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin if you want to have a peaceful visit to the mountains. We will definitely return in the future.
