What a wonderful weekend! It was very relaxing and enjoyable. What we loved the most was spending time in the solarium watching the birds and the magnificent view! We would definitely go back! Thank you so much!

This is an amazing vacation home and this was my family's second time renting this gorgeous home and property. The views are breathtaking and we saw eagles soaring by on many mornings. There are panoramic views of the Puget Sound from nearly every room in this fabulous house and property. The owners Joan and Jay are wondrous hosts and provide many amenities and comforts. It is truly a home away from home. I could not rate this property more highly and definitely recommend it to others. Thank you so very much! Nancy and Family

The house was AMAZING! Comfortable and cozy - I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The best part: the view from the kitchen and living room. Impossible to beat - a 180-degree view of the water, while washing dishes?! Amenities were fabulous, too. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this lovely home over Thanksgiving 2009. It was absolutely wonderful. The house lends itself to entertaining a large group in a relaxed setting with very nice, but comfortable furnishings, and gorgeous views. While only six of us stayed at the house, we had 17 family members ranging from 18 months to 62 years for Thanksgiving dinner and all had a happy time. I would give an unqualified recommendation to this house for any type of gathering.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay in Port Ludlow. The house is beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and is wonderfully situated to take full advantage of the stunning view of Puget Sound. Our entire experience, from booking the reservation to departure back to our day to day lives, was memorable in the most positive sense of the word. We absolutely plan to return in the future, and would whole-heartedly recommend a stay there to anyone planning to spend time in the area.

Our visit to Port Ludlow and the Olympic peninsula was a huge success. Everyone really enjoyed your home and the stunning views from your deck at anytime during the day – the sunrises, the balmy breezes, the passing cruise ships, the deer visits, the tranquil garden stream, the hummingbirds, etc. The grandchildren enjoyed the Olympic Game Farm, the Resort pool, and the Fourth of July celebration in Kingston. Our batteries were re-charged and we had a great time visiting with the family. Thanks for sharing your fantastic home with us.

We were lucky that the weather was so incredibly gorgeous during our stay. Rented kayaks at the marina and paddled out to the rocks in front of the house to watch the seals. Went clamming and picked oysters. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying the wonderful view and all the activity. Deer came into the yard and we saw a raccoon in the pond. Lots of birds to watch. A relaxing and lovely place.

We stayed at this home for a week and found it very comfortable - it contained every single thing you would need. All details were well thought out for those who would be visiting The highlight, however is the view - the first morning we were awakened by the most amazing sunrise that came in our sliding doors. Views are fantastic from practically every room of the home and was the PERFECT place to relax - we enjoyed watching the sail boats practice right below the deck one afternoon. The home is close to other interests in the area - we took our bikes to Sequim to ride the Discovery Train and visited Port Townsend and enjoyed the town and shops. We highly recommend it as a place to visit. Thanks for sharing!!

What a magnificent place! Regardless of the weather you will love it here. A perfect place to relax and unwind or be as active as you wish. The views are beautiful and always changing. There is an eagle's nest close by, deer wandering through the yard, raccoons playing in the pond, and the crows chasing the eagles. In the evenings cruise ships head out to sea and if you are up in the very early morning you can see them heading back to Seattle all lit up. We even were lucky to see a nuclear submarine go by. I could sit on the deck or in the solarium for hours just watching the activity on the water below. We will definitely be back!

Really a nice place - and everything about it encourages relaxing. The view is spectacular, and it feels very private. Port Townsend, Port Hadlock are all just a short drive away and it's not far from Seattle, yet it feels a world away from stress and traffic. A great easy-to-get-to getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Your home is so beautiful and a wonderful place to entertain and enjoy the amazing view. I also love that it is so close to Port Angeles for fun shopping and of course, the yummy Ajax restaurant. I would recommend a stay to anyone who wants to get away from it all and also be close to lots of activities. Claudia Schuch PS The guys had a great time golfing while we ladies walked the beach!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend in September. The highbank view is really pretty and the home is quiet and very private. Watching the reflective sunset, morning sunrises, passing cruise ships ships is what sitting on the deck is all about. The grounds are lovely too and you get to eat he delicious blackberries for free!We look forward to returning.

Hi, Just a word to say what a great place this is! My family and I loved the beautiful house (which felt like "home"). All went flawlessly. Everything was ready to go when we arrived. Many things to do, but the best thing was just sitting and looking at all of Mother Nature's majesty over the Sound. Come and enjoy if you can! Jan
