  This was our second stay at The Preserve and we were so happy to be able to come back for a much-needed break from our hectic home life in England. The house is perfect, very spacious with a useful (unfortunately - never away from work are we!) study and fast wifi connection. Fully equipped kitchen and beautiful pool with great privacy. We love just watching the Floridian birds and wildlife whilst sipping a cocktail by the pool. The house is situated less than 10 minutes from 2 major supermarkets and less than 20 from the Port Charlotte Mall which has all the shops you may need plus a multiscreen movie house. Very easy to reach from Tampa airport and Sarasota with its museums and St Armand's Circle and Venice, and - in the opposite direction - Naples, our favourite Coconut Point (Estero) and a much-loved Cheese Factory. There are many local beaches just up the road. For a wonderful, relaxing break we highly recommend The Preserve.

  Amazing, exquisite decor, super comfortable and upscale for sure. We enjoyed the stay, had no problems with the management company, very helpful and prompt. Owner is amazing!!! We emailed to see if possible early arrival and within 3 hrs. emailed back, for our luck house was available and they even had the lights on for our arrival. She even supplied 2 extra bikes for our family. Our families had come down from different areas and had other rental properties, I have to say we had the Best Looking Rental with the Best Management Staff. Very professional, no gimmicks, no hassles unlike our family members. House has a personalized greeting book and a reference book with instructions from check in-out, instructions for appliances, grill, pool and useful information about the area such as restaurants, beaches, things to do, etc. The house is exactly what you see in the pictures, you won't be disappointed at all. We enjoyed the pool to the max, and the area is very private, close to many beaches, our favorite Boca Grande. Nearby shopping malls, very accessible to Rte 771 and 776. We would rent it again for our future visits and I'm sure our family members (with the bad experience) would too. My 9 year old daughter says it was awesome and she loved all the pool inflatables! We had a blast! Thank You for making our stay a perfect one.

  We have just gotten back from this house in the Rotonda.The pictures dont do it justice. We enjoyed the pool every day. We had great weather also. The house was spotless. In fact my wife said as soon as we walked in she could live here. It was that nice. Had several great evenings on the beach for sunset pictures. Also spent some time over at Boca Grande. Very nice. Went to PJ s for dinner. Very good dinner. So overall we would rate this as our favorite vacation house we have stayed . No problems at all. Would come back.

  Just spent 3 weeks at The Preserve and what a fantastic holiday, the villa was outstanding, the surroundings peaceful and full of wonderful birds and wildlife. We have been to Rotonda many times and this was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in, the bikes were a bonus a must is the cycle path to the local beach on Boca, where we sat watching dolphins swimming within arms reach. The local restaurants were all well worth a visit, for exaple the Fishery, Loose caboose, Carabanas, The Olive Garden, too many to list, all the beaches are outstanding. I would very much reccomend a stay in this villa, you wont be dissapointed. We are planning the next trip.

  You will not find a better home in this area, quiet, private, very clean, spacious and professionally decorated. Sandy does a very professional job looking after correspondence going back & forth, we were impressed. Plenty of things to do or not do depending on your timetable. The Preserve is located in a very private location. If you just want to relax, I can't think of a better place then the secluded backyard, everything is there, nature preserve, heated pool, BBQ and plenty of sun. For those who want more, numerous golf courses in the area, nearby beaches, shopping, walking, biking and plenty of excellent restaurants. This is a diamond in Rotonda!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

  A rather belated message to say thank you many times over for letting us have your fantastic house in Florida for three weeks this June/July. We absolutely loved the layout which was so spacious and the furniture was all so comfortable. We were delighted to see your neighbours the bobcat, racoons, tortoise and beautiful birds as well as the resident pool lizard. The bathroom was a different layout to the ones we've had in the past but it was actually much better and the rainforest shower was extremely well used! As my husband and son needed to work while we were there the study was much appreciated and helped separate work from play. We also enjoyed a visit to the baseball - very relaxed, family fun. As other reviewers have said the location of the villa is perfect, with easy accessibility to both beaches and the local shops. Thank you again for giving us three very chilled and enjoyable weeks in the sun. We look forward to returning!

  We stayed here Easter 2011. Firstly the photos do not do the Villa justice. It is absolutely fantastic. The design and furnishings are top class. We have stayed in many villas all over the world, but this ranks as the best. Just what you need after a long flight. The pool area is large and very relaxing. The kids loved the bikes laid on by Sandy. The villa is well located to enjoy the many nearby beaches, shopping and restaurants. We tried as many different restaurants as we could and our favourites were the Olive Garden and Joe Crackers in Port Charlotte, PJs Seagrill in Boca Grande and Harpoon Harrys in Punta Gorda. We went to the Charlotte Stone Crabs baseball match and had a great night with our youngest son winning a prize for dancing on the dugout! To summarise a fantastic holiday in a fantastic location. We will return.

  Our experience in renting this property was wonderful! Sandy was prompt and thorough in her responses to our questions in preparation for our trip. Every thing was exactly as she said it would be and the photos above accurately reflect the beauty of this house. The home is gorgeous, immaculate, and spacious! Quality furnishings throughout and very clean! The master bathroom is amazing! The pool and lanai area were great and got tons of use from our teens! While the home itself sits in the "far back reaches" of a huge development, it was very peaceful and Rotonda turned out to be the perfect location for so many day trips to different beaches, both north and south. Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Park, and the beautiful and quaint Boca Grande were all within 15-20 minutes of the home, providing great shark's teeth hunting,awesome sunsets, and plenty of fishing/water activities. You can easily take a day trip to Siesta Key (approx. 1 hr. north) and to Fort Myers (same distance to the south). The best part of staying in this property is it's "central" location and the availability of a multitude of beaches and activities within an hour of travel without having to deal with over-priced and super crowded spring break spots!

  What a beautiful home and relaxing atmosphere!! We spent a month here. We enjoyed some of the local restaurants and my husband definitely enjoyed golfing a few times a week. I caught up on my reading. We love the area and although I was leery about coming to Florida, we loved this area so much that we are coming back next year for 2 months. Can't wait...but for now we are heading back to the snow.
