16'x16' Screened in porch is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fresh air and mountain views as well as have a meal. This is an open, bright, airy, uncluttered house with plenty of space to spread out or gather together.
The main level includes the Master Bedroom featuring cathedral ceiling, walk-in closet and French doors leading to a deck, full bath with soaking tub and double headed shower; a second bedroom sleeps 2 and has a window seat, another full bath; Enjoy dramatic cathedral ceilings in a 30'x15' open kitchen/dining room/living room area. Large deck and screened in porch are off the kitchen.
The large loft area with ceiling fan is great for sleeping extra people with a double futon and a single bed
Walk-out lower level has a large bedroom that sleeps 2, full bath, French doors leading to yard, and a huge multipurpose area including a pull out couch and piano.
Every room in the house faces the mountains. The White Mountain National Forest surrounds the house and the serene Razor Brook is at our cul de sac. In the winter a small pond at the cul de sac is a great place for ice skating.
4WD or AWD needed for driveway when icy.

A simply amazing post and beam home!

Incredible mountain views doesn't do justice for what this three level post and beam house with garage really has to offer.Upon arriving we were simply blown away by the house. The pictures that are provided do no type of justice for what this house really offers. This wonderful quality built home sits high on a hill in a upscale neighborhood. And if you noticed I use the word home. I'm using the word home because that's what we called after arriving. It really felt like our home away from home. This home is extremely clean and the no shoe policy was a big hit with everyone. Upon entering we would simply leave our shoes in the mud room or in the garage. That just shows the quality and details that the homeowner put into the wonderful home when building it. Everyone each morning woke up very rested from the comfortable beds. We would than sit in the kitchen and living room sipping coffee, eating breakfast and talking about the great time we had the night before. In the evenings we would sit around playing card games or just talking. We enjoyed the home so much most nights we stayed in because we felt no need to go else where. The fact the there is NO cable TV wasn't miss at all by anyone. But, I have to say a flat screen TV and DVD player would be a welcome addition to the living room there is a DVD player and small TV located upstairs. The driveway is steep and has a sharp turn but, the plowing service did fantastic job after receiving over 12" of snow. By the next day 4WD was no longer needed but I would still strongly recommend it.This home has every type of pot, pan and cooking utensil that we could think of. Each night we cooked elaborate gourmet meals on the gas stove and everything that we needed was within our reach.(It's great to have a chef as a friend) While eating we were able to listen to our favorite country songs on the wonderful stereo system with Ipod connection that filled the house with great music. Choosing a vacation rental from a website is difficult. But, once I spoke and exchanged emails with the home owner Deborah I felt wonderful about my choice for a vacation rental in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I can defiantly say that I'll be returning to this home again and in fact it's already in the planning stages. I'll be back in the fall and winter to the amazing mountain home. The house is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The surrounding view is gorgeous due to the high position of the house on the hill. As a result the steep and long driveway can be a problem in the winter with snow or freezing rain, though we didn't have any. The house is very clean and well equipped. Pleasant bonus: a nice hi-fi system in the main area with a tuner, CD player, and a headphone jack for an MP3 player. Be aware that the TV does not have any channels, but you can watch your DVD's or video tapes (a small collection of tapes is present); however, a satellite dish would be a welcome addition to the house. The cell phone service is perfect for both AT&T and Verizon.
Owner response:Thanks Boston! Yes, snow tires and/or 4WD are recommended for winter up there. Unfortunately our neighborhood does not allow satellite dishes and cable is difficult to connect because of the remoteness. Enjoy can still enjoy a good movie, read, play one of our many board games, or chat and relax after a full day. So much to do!

Great views from the living room and deck. The house sits high on a hill so even in 90 degree weather during the day, the house was nice and cool at night. Comfy beds which is great to have after a full day of outdoor activities.

We rented your house for seven days in July and had a great time. As a builder, I have been involved in the building of post and beam houses, and can truly say that this is a very nice house with good craftsmanship. Very clean!! I loved the fact that there were more board games than t.v. stations. Great family environment!!It was a pleasure to visit, and we hope to come again next year. Very accomidating owners. Thanks

Very nice house, in a beautiful area of Bartlett. Stayed for a week, enjoyed skiing at many of the local mtns. Nice place to relax and enjoy a quiet vacation. Owners are very nice and friendly to work with. We look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed at this lovely home for a long weekend after Thanksgiving. We were very pleased with everything. The views are amazing. We could see the beautiful mountains from every window. The house was new and clean and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house to others and we are looking forward to staying there again.

We stayed at this home during Columbus Day weekend and had a fabulous time. The views are incredible. The house is new and very, very clean. We were comfortable here - the kitchen was well-stocked, the linens and towels were adequate. We even had a crib. The main living area of the house is spacious enough to accomodate a large family. We were traveling with another couple and we each had a floor to ourselves. The loft would be perfect for older kids. The house is centrally located with an easy drive to Mt. Washington, the North Conway Village and hiking.
