PORTOFINO is the ultimate luxury destination on the entire Gulf coast. Our Condo is in tower 5 which has just been finished (May 2006) and is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time at the beach. When staying at Portofino, you need to understand which views you will get. Ours is only one of 36 that has the near Gulf uninterrupted SW view. This condo has UNINTERRUPTED VIEWS OF THE BEACH to the southwest and northwest which includes fabulous sunsets, views of the Gulf, the intracoastal waterway and the length of Santa Rosa island. PORTOFINO has many amenities which are yours to enjoy for free while you are here.
You will use the FULLY EQUIPPED GYM which just may be the NICEST IN THE WORLD, and overlooks the outdoor infinity pools and Santa Rosa Sound. Classes available at extra charge.
Enjoy playing on five Rubico and LIGHTED TENNIS COURTS ( court fees apply)
Swim in any of the 8 on-site HEATED pools and hot tubs.
*Admittance to the Portofino Spa with wet and dry sauna (treatments extra) with massage therapy, body treatments, and facials.
PORTOFINO is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach, Florida. It is an easy 25 minute drive from Pensacola International Airport (PNS).
Our condominium is located in Tower Five , on 6th floor. It has been professionally decorated and features nine-foot ceilings throughout. The entrance has eight-foot-wide double doors opening onto oversized ceramic tile flooring throughout the living area, kitchen, and baths. There are high speed internet connections at various locations in the unit. BRING YOUR LAPTOP.
As you stand in the kitchen or living area you can see the clear blue Gulf of Mexico. The 43 foot long balcony off the living area and both bedrooms allows for spectacular views, including a direct view of the pure white sand beach, the sunset and the intercoastal waterway.
The master bedroom has a true KING SIZE BED, the 2nd bedroom has two full-size beds. This makes the 2nd bedroom a little cramped but it sure beats sleeping on a sleeper sofa. I also have one of those sleeper sofas in the livingroom. Full-size washer and dryer are in the Condo for use.
There is an outdoor electric grill for your use.
There are four beach chairs and an umbrella which you are welcome to take to the beach.
We live in the area and frequently use the unit for our own use so it is equipped with everything you need. Just bring your suntan lotion, beach towels and food.
Luxurious furnishings reminiscent of the finest five star hotels decorate the entire unit.
Twenty-nine movies/dvd/vhs are available for viewing in the unit with a nice tasteful selection for both adults and children. TV's are in each bedroom and a 35" TV is in the livingroom.
Unfortunately, boats and motorcycles are not allowed on the property. You will have to store them off-site.
Add $75 cleaning fee) and $80 amenity fees to pricing. My price does not include beach chairs, the Portofino boat or taxes (11.5%). Beach chairs/ 1 umbrella are available in the unit and you are welcome to take them to the beach.
This is a NO SMOKING UNIT.
There is a 2 night minimum stay year round and a 6 night minimum in Jun and Jul unless I can fit you in between two other reservations

My family and I have been to this unit 3 times in the last 3 years (mid-March each year) and absolutely love it. Great floor layout, beautiful views of the gulf, superb ammenities and an awesome bike trail adjacent to the portofino resort (my wife is an avid runner and I a triathlete in training year round). The beaches are wonderful. A very family friendly stay. You can't go wrong! I'm sure we'll return, it gets in your blood!

My family spent 2nd week of January..weather was a little chilly but the views were so amazing it didn't hamper our experience at all. Condo is absolutely beautiful..we did not want to leave. The weather couldn't have been better! The daytime temp was perfect! The sand was a little cool on our feet in the morning and late in the evening but the water was still warm, and there was no crowd. We saw dolphins playing and a school of fish go by early one morning. The beach at Portafino was perfect because when the tide was low, it was shallow and had what my kids called an island (sand bar i guess). It was great for shell searching too! The condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. I loved sitting on the balcony with my cup of coffee each morning and watching the waves. Michael Moran was one of the nicest people I dealt with when trying to find a vacation rental. We would definately stay there again!

There are just so many good things to say that I would exceed the limit on this review so I'll keep it short and sweet. The condo is very clean and well kept. The condo complex is gorgeous. The condo is located far enough from the activity of Pensacola Beach to allow for a very relaxing vacation. However, if you're looking for a more active vacation it's only a 5 minute drive away. My family and I loved this place and will definitely be back for years to come.

I have been to Portofino several times and it is a magnificent place to spend a vacation. Mike is excellent to work with, great communication and follow up so you feel secure in your rental experience. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation this year, and Mike made it easy and quickly followed thru on my deposit return. I will not hesitate to rent from him again, and portofino will always be my #1 vacation spot.

This was the perfect family vacation. From our balcony, we had a great view of the beach. It was absolutely beautiful. The condo was gorgeous! It was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. Mike Moran was great to work, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this condo to those of you that have small children!!

We stayed Portofino Condo 5-603 from April 6-11, 2008 and had an absolutely great time. The condo is beautiful, even prettier then the pictures, the view is amazing! When we arrived, it was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Mike has a nice book put together with info you may need while staying there such as restaurants, stores, etc. A nice extra touch. Mike was great to work with, great communication back and forth. We definitely will stay here again...hopefully next April! :)
