We spent Christmas at Sea Ridge House. It was perfect for the 6 of us (all adults)- cozy and homey, completely private, sitting high above the bay and nestled at the top of a very quiet, wooded neighborhood. Hiking trail a hundred yards down the road takes you all the way down to the isolated beaches on Tomales. Great little galley kitchen with useful pots and pans and things. Yard is fun to explore, and the fire pit is awesome. Only thing I'd caution is that the "third bedroom" is really a kind of converted rec room with a pull-out sofa and a kind of in-law kitchenette, and it uses a utility bathroom in the hallway. Very comfortable and worked for us, but worth mentioning. It'd be a good room for a couple with little kids, etc.

In celebration of our nephew's college graduation, we came from Atlanta to Vegas & SFO. We thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty & many options at the Sea Ridge house! One night we built a fire & roasted marsh mellows in the fire pit. We walked the meandering trails & enjoyed the beautiful flowers & shrubs. We saw Quail. We took many pictures. We loved the morning mist that gave way to gorgeous views. It was a wonderful experience that everyone enjoyed! We liked it so well that we're planning on returning in the winter to hopefully see whales & sea lions in the Pacific!!! Wendy has thought of every detail to make for a very comfortable stay.

Thank you for a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Sea Ridge. I've lived in and explored Marin for nearly 40 years and been a Realtor for close to 30, so I know my way around pretty well. Your property is one of the most beautiful settings I've seen. The home was equally appealing. My wife, myself and another couple who joined us all wish to give you a unanimous two thumbs up. We just got back from Sea Ridge Cottage and had a wonderful time for my birthday. The cottage itself is a beautiful getaway, nestled in the trees with a wood burning stove and several sleeping accommodations. It is charming and well thought out with a lovely ambiance for the perfect romantic retreat. It's also well located near all of the attractions Point Reyes has to offer. Wendy was as pleasant to communicate with, as her cottage is special. I highly recommend Sea Ridge to anyone who wants to enjoy the splendors of Point Reyes.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our days at Sea Ridge ... there really is a magical quality to it that you don't discover until you get there and our only disappointment was that we weren't staying longer. We had fantastic outings to McClure Beach and the lighthouse and also a really good dinner at Stellina in Pt. Reyes Station. We're all really glad that it worked out so well and I hope we have the chance for another visit next time we're in Marin. Once again thanks so much for letting us share Sea Ridge ... just a delightful experience.

I just wanted to let you know that we had another fabulous get-away at Sea Ridge House. The night before we left, our grand-daughter, aged 4, walked through the house proclaiming “this is a magic house and a magic garden” We all agree with her. We came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. Without a doubt we would like to make this and annual event, as long as the house is available.

Another wonderful Christmas was had by all. Hikes to Chimney Rock, Estero, and Kehoe Beach. Mushroom collecting and a trip to the Cowgirl Creamery. Not to mention games in the evening. This house has everything you could ask for.

Thank you for hosting us in such a beautiful setting. The architecture here is so quaint-it feels like we were living in a fairytale home. All of our needs were cared for with plenty of material to spare.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful house and lovely gardens. It was a wonderful environment for our campus retreat. Sitting outside relaxing, all the trees and the little hummingbird who continued to find us interesting and would 'buzz' around us. Today we are packing up and finding it hard to leave.

This was such a wonderful place for our family. Just the right combination of activity and relaxation. The gardens are exquisite and such a treat to see all the birds here. The house was very well equipped and it was so easy to cook and enjoy meals.
