  This place was great! Angie, Steve and Wes were the nicest people and very laid back. The Villas were amazing and run very well. Everyday we enjoyed going out to do an adventure. We rode the quads (highly recommended) and went to the caves. For place to eat go to the Guari Guari, very nice, and great food. The trip was great and a lot of fun. Definitely going to come back.

  Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at the Casitas. We really enjoyed our week in Bocas! Loved having the bikes to use to explore the island and the baked goods were a great treat! Yum! All of the recommendations Steve gave were A+++. Paki Point, Starfish Beach, Oreba Chocolate Farm,…. To name a few! Bocas is beautiful and it was so great to be there! Thank you for everything!

  We had a fantastic 5-night stay at Las Casitas. From the beginning of my correspondence with Angie, I felt very comfortable about renting this place for our family (two parents, two young adults). Angie was right – there is no other place like this in Bocas. We enjoyed our field trips in the surrounding area, but it was always nice to come back to Las Casitas. The massage with Jill was pure heaven, the treats were delicious and Angie's restaurant recommendations spot-on. We hope to come back someday.

  I stayed here with some friends and it was amazing i'd definitely come back! It was nice waking up the sound of waves and birds every morning. It was very relaxing and tranquil. I also loved the location because it was only about 2 miles outside of town just far enough to not hear the loud music. They provided us bikes for us to use, so it was an easy 5-10 minute bike ride out to town. However i'm glad we didn't stay on bluff beach because that's too long of a bike ride into town. The taxi ride's are also very expensive going to and from Bluff. This was much better located.

  I enjoyed our stay at Villa Paraiso the beach was clean and and best of all we were alone on the beach. It was the best place in Bocas. it was far better than Bluff or Red Frog they were both so far from town unlike Villa Paraiso. I would definitely stay there again.

  After a lot of research looking at hotels, B&Bs, and resorts on Bocas, as well as looking at some of the other islands, we ended up thinking that Villa Paraiso would suit our family very well. And it was PERFECT! Villa Paraiso has 2 separate Casitas that share a pool and common outdoor kitchen area. This was perfect for our family as we could rent both and have the entire property to ourselves! Included was a stocked fridge, snacks, cell phones with pre-programmed numbers of taxis, restaurants and the owners (they live next door), bikes, pool toys, etc. Angie would bring us treats (brownies, cinnamon buns, local treats) and Angie and Steve were there when we needed them and were invisible when we wanted them to be. Having the beach right there (with beautiful calm, warm water) and the pool, it was the best of both worlds. We cooked breakfast every morning which saved money and saved us a trip into town (plus my husband makes the best breakfasts). But if you don't want to cook, their son Wes will make a delicious breakfast for you. Our daily routine was to have breakfast then pack up for the day and head out to our activities by either taxi or riding the bikes into town or down to another beach, then back by 4:00, swim, make pina coladas (in the blender!) and shower for dinner. We would then go out to the road and flag down a taxi. Only $1.50 each to town to dine on a great dinner! Then back, another swim and to bed. The A/C in the room was wonderful! The showers were huge and the water pressure was great! Stay at Las Casitas Del Paraiso... you won't be disappointed!

  This truly is paradise and a labour of love by the owners. We were a party of 6 staying in the two casitas. The location, the property, the amenities etc. are all as advertised - no surprises except the pictures just don't do it justice! We loved having our own private pool and spent a great deal of time there after exhausting ourselves with a few days of Bocas touring. Due to an issue with mobile phone service in the region (it happens!) there was a delay in communication regarding having the chef come over as well as accessing the kayaks - however Steve and Angie were most apologetic and it certainly did not ruin our holiday! Having a resort next door was handy for meals if you don't feel like cooking or going into town. The quiet beach in front was a perfect place to sit and enjoy with your morning coffee - it was a tough place to leave but we will be back!

  We stayed here based on wonderful reviews we read and the owners hospitality. We weren't disappointed. We fell asleep to the ocean waves and the boys loved the saltwater pool. Angie and Steve surprised us with wonderful muffins, rolls, etc.. I really liked that the rooms had a mini fridge already stocked with things we might need upon arriving in after an all day adventure to get to Bocas. They also have great connections with local people who will deliver food or come cook for you on your own private grill. This place is close to town yet far enough away to have peace and quiet. The rooms are super clean!! This is the only place where I'd stay upon my return.

  2 semanas increibles para mi y mi familia. Las Casitas en Villa Paraiso, es un lugar hermoso con muy buena atencion, el sitio ideal para compartir con amigos o familia. Tiene una playa bella y un jardin hermosamente cuidado, muy tranquilo y personas super amables. Mi madre quedo encantada con la tranquilidad y paz de la que pudimos disfrutar, para mi fue muy importante la seguridad debido a nuestra bebe y para ella lo que le encanto fue la piscina y el mar claro esta :-). Y Thomas la hermosa vista, como el mismo lo describe "un pedacito de cielo en la tierra". Este lugar en Bocas del Toro le ofrecera a cada persona que lo visite algo divino de que disfrutar, mi familia y yo lo recomendamos para unas bellas e inolvidables vacaciones. Gracias Familia Cottrell por hacer de este lugar lo que es!

  Our family (2 adults, 2 children) loved staying at such a wonderful place. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a wonderful memory, super helpful. Very clean, new and well mantained, they put alot of work into the place. There are endless possibilities of day excursions but be sure to take time to enjoy the fab property! You can even order breakfast from them served fresh & hot! The restaurant next door makes for an easy fix if you are tired and don't want to go into town. We did Starfish Beach, Nivida Bat Cave's Tour and The Oreba Chocolate Tour and loved it all! Still more to explore!!!

  March 21-15, 2012 Rusty and I had such a wonderful stay in your BEAUTIFUL New Casitas! The only problem is that it wasn’t long enough. An additional huge bonus was getting to know all of you. Thank you so much for making our entire stay here in Bocas one that we will never forget. We look forward to returning and trying one of Wes’ Gourmet breakfasts!   My husband and I stayed in one of the new villas. We felt like we were on our honeymoon again! The view was so gorgeous. Waking up to the sound of the soft waves on the shore was truly relaxing. We absolutely loved the pool that was conveniently located a few steps outside our door. It was so refreshing and didn't have that heavy smell of chlorine like other resort pools, leaving your body smelling like bleach. The many palm trees around the villa made the swim feel so private like our own little secret place. The location was perfect for us. The villa was a few minutes away from the town where everything is. That part we particularly enjoyed because the town itself can get noisy sometimes, especially at night. The room was comfortable and provided everything you needed for your stay. We loved the fact that you could walk down the steps to the beach. It was like having a ocean for our backyard. The water at that particular beach was nice and calm but there was also another beach we liked called Bluff only a few minutes away by taxi. Steve and angie really made sure we felt at home and even if we asked a lot of questions they always were eager to help or give advice. We can't wait to go back, but next time for longer!

  I loved staying at Las Casitas Del Paraiso. The room was clean and cutely decorated. We had cruiser bikes to use whenever we wanted, which we used almost every day to ride into town or up to Bluff beach. Angie and her family were extremely friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. I loved falling asleep with the sound of waves crashing just a few feet away.

  This place is wonderful. Steve, Angie, and the boys take such great care of you. I can't wait to go back. It was so relaxing. The beach is literally right outside of your window.
