PLEASE, MAKE YOUR SPRING RESERVATIONS EARLY, THIS HOUSE RENTS FAST!! This home is a perfect place to enjoy the water and entertainment. The Chain of Lakes is the largest body of water in Northern Illinois just 15 minutes to Six Flaggs and Gurnee Mills. The two-story 2000 square foot home has enough room for everyone and is just half a block from the boat ramp and a family owned and operated restaurant nestled back in a private residential area (Fairmont Shores).
(We are presently taking reservations to begin April 1, 2008.Some dates are already reserved to save on advance reservations and secure your availability in the off season as early as possible.)
Some mornings you can watch deer in the back yard since the location is on a remote dead end. There's a place in the back yard for campfires which are allowed since the area is unincorporated. And don't forget to go by water to world renown "Blarney Island" a bar in the middle of the lake for literally thousands of people from all over the world have been partying at for decades there's live music every weekend in the summer and there are dozens of restaurants and bars all over the lake and the fishing is unsurpassed. Tournaments all summer long, too!
Water skiers will love the endless opportunities and boating on the Chain is always an adventure. You can see the "Mineola" (Al Capone's old hide-away) and dive for treasure under Blarney island (coins and jewelry by the fortune they say.) Also only 10 minutes away is the town of Fox Lake with more bars per capita than any other town in the WORLD!!
Also on Thursday evenings you can watch the speed boat races every week in the summer and tie up with you friends boats to enjoy the event. There's ice fishing with endless species of fish and snowmobiling with lots of place to go. (All reservations are determined by reciept of the deposit that is recieved first.) |
