Spectacular residence, facing the sea of Angra. Three complete suites, 6 baths, maid quarters (for up to 3 employees), SPA with jacuzzi, sauna and Vichy bath. Designer kitchen, fully equipped. Staff (driver, caretaker, and cook) available upon request at additional cost. This magic residence sits across the island of Marambaia, beside the majestic 'Isla Grande'. The 'Castelhanos lighthouse' and two smaller islands grace this wonderful composition that bathed in the winter sun or in the twiligt of a summer moon, explains why the locals call Angra, 'The place where God resides.' This large luxurious residence which offers the look and feel of being in a house, is part of a complex that houses four vilas . 'Porto Real' offers high security and full resort infrastructure including private beach, club, with bar & restaurant, full gym, sauna & steam, beauty parlor, marina, and other options, incuding kids club. We are within 20 km. of downtown Angra os Reis.
The entrance staircase is flanked by potted native plants and orchids which along with various ferns and palm trees give a unique effect of being in a home garden. Sculptures stratigically placed add harmony to the lovely staircase - garden. At night, designed lighting make this descent even more magical when receiving guests.
A cheerful and elegant door, painted red, appears and opens to a small entrance hall. On the left,, a precious small powder room beautifully decorated in the colors of nature.
The living room opens as a wonderful composition of selected furniture, paintings, abajours, sculptures and enhanced decor that makes guests feel in a world apart. The unique smell of cinnamon and orange rising from the cofee table -surrounded by four large and comfortable withe linen sofas-, warn about the delights of this exceptional space. Along with specially designed lighting for this room, appears a librafry wall that hosts a 50' HD flat screen TV and Home Theater with over 1000 DVD titles and a large selection of CD's and books. Small sculptures and embedded art complete the seductive effect of this cozy and comfortable living room.
Through four doors of tempered glass, the living room opens to a large veranda.and a magnificent view. Abundant morning sun bathes this setting making it perfect for a luxurious breakfast, cocktails, or a magical happy hour. Prepared with a beautiful ombrelone and teak chairs, the veranda table sits up six people. A stone wall decorated with a large sculpture and native plants complement this leisure space leaving the hosts with an enchanting view of an infinite sea. Orchids, ferns, lemon trees and other plants dance to the sound of birds that visit and often nest in this quiet place.
Next to the living area, a solid wood table, full of character, indicates the platform for the composition of the wonderful dining room. This splendid round able with eight chairs, dressed in classic elegance, is framed against two walls lined with spectacular art . Specially designed lighting allows for a theatrical effect when serving dinner. The dining room also comes with a strong buffet with several drawers, and across, beneath a small window, the bar is hosted in an equally interesting piece which is highlighted by an exceptional sculpture-abajour brought from Minas Gerais.
With an area of 370m2 this residence was originally planned for five bedrooms. After the reform made in 2009, and to meet the demands of the current owner, two suites were converted into a spa with a large sauna, Vichy shower, hydro shower and jacuzzi. Two tables for massage and gymnastics were added along exercising equipment for fitness and wellness. A 42' flat screen TV, a full size futon, spa furniture and shelves complement the design of the spa. In addition to a deck with Jacuzzi for two persons, the spa also includes a full bathroom and a third residence suite. The spa suite has a large and charming balcony with table and chairs, that opens to the garden and rain forest and beautiful a view of the sea of Angra. It is a perfect place to relax, read or to simply watch nature closely and discover the pleasure of seeing colorful birds and small monkeys up close. A king size bed (2. 2 x 00. 00) is featured in this suite which also includes two wardrobes and a reading chair to complement the exquisite and colorful decor.
The bathroom is also colorful in decor, has a large shower and all the details needed in a guest room.
Spacious, bright and well designed, the master suite was designed thinking of the pleasure that the rest, love and sleep bring to their guests. Exquisite furnishings, and an exotic and large King size bed (1.80 X1, 80) make up this unique space. A large window offers a green view of the colorful garden and the green rainforest. Through a very large celing to floor window, spanning the wide area of the room, appears the blue sea of Angra and below the window, several palm, banana, tangerina and goiaba trees complete the scenery.
In front of the bed, an inviting sofa and cushions. Shelves with books and a flat screen TV 32 'with DVD and player and speakers, make the guest feel our five star service. A large walking closet with two head to toe wardrobe mirrors, features ample space for hanging clothes. It also offers his-hers space for shelves, bins, drawers and 6 large shelves specially made for storing shoes. This closet serves as the entrance to the bathroom area. This is an extraordinarily clear area, perfect for the bathroom which has a spacious shower box and a luxurious glass sink with marble furnishings framed by a 2X1m mirror. The counter has ample space for towels, both hanging and folded, make-up drawers and make up mirrors along all the details required in a bath room.are present in this bathroom. The water heating is done by the gas heater located on the premises and includes a pressurizer to ensure abundant water and high pressure which completes this charming space for relaxation.
The guest suite is the third space dedicated to rest and relaxation in this residence. This suite has a large window that offers a beautiful view of its garden. Finely decorated with two double beds, 50' flat screen TV, also offers ample wardrobe furniture and bedside table. There is also a lovely rustic table that highlights the decoration of the room. This suite is large enough to accommodate a third bed or crib. The bathroom is spacious and decorated in red, blue and gray and a beautiful addition to this suite.
All suites have mini-bar in the space of relaxation (replenishing available)
A large kitchen designed to offer convenience and optimum utilization of available space, bearing walls covered with formica and steel is on entrence level behind the dining area. Cooking, chopping, sautéing, boiling, is a delight in a space created and designed to facilitate and monitor the needs of the 'chef' of the hosue. All necessary equipment and instruments are complemented by a 5 burners stove and an efficient two-door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser. Both in stainless steel. Microwave, dishwasher and culinary use otros devices such as grill, bread machine, fryer, toaster, etc. are also available in this space. Wine racks and a wine cooler bar complete this space. A table with six dark brown leather stools are part of this seductive and modern space that comes complete with fine dining and, silver and table ware and accesories. There is a convenient storage space along with a large dishwaher.
Maids quarters are complete with bunk beds for up to three people and include full bathroom and shower.

Fine furnishings and finishes are visible throughout the residence. Porcelain tile floors, wooden stairs, and lighting designed to complement fine decoration was chosen.
This is a fully air-conditioned residence with individual controls in each room.
