The kitchenette is equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove top, small refrigerator and dishes and utensils. There is a double murphy bed, which sleeps two comfortably.   • We stayed in this apartment in March 2007 and had a wonderful week. The owner of the home met us at the airport and we followed him in our rental car. The apt. was clean, secluded, and safe. If you are going to spend your time exploring the islands of St. Thomas and St. John, this is an excellent place to use as a home base. We even loved the drive up the hill to get there. The view from the front porch was definitely worth it! Everything in the kitchenette worked fine and was a huge moneysaver as the restaurants on St. Thomas are expensive. There are grocery stores and a KMart reasonably close to the apt. that did have good prices. There is nothing fancy about this place, but it is fully functional and we would stay here again. If this is your first time to the Virgin Islands, you need to know that taking the ferry to St. John is definitely worth the time and money. The beaches and snorkeling are the best we have seen in the Caribbean. Another hint- every beach on St. Thomas is public, even the ones at the expensive resorts. Another plus about this rental was the owner's acceptance of Paypal for payment.
