All skiing areas as well as snowboarding are in close vicinity: Zillertal Arena Spieljoch Hochfuegen. The Hintertux glacier for year round skiing. Start cross country skiing right in front of your main door.
You can visit the Peter family’s traditional wooden farmhouse on 3000 feet where Peruna the Haflinger horse and Sanny the pony wait to carry you or your children to a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Your children can experience cows and calves, bunnies and cats on the farm if they wish.
If you are a gourmet you will find three of the best and highly awarded restaurants offering modern cuisine together with Tyrolean Gemuetlichkeit.
A 20-minute drive will take you to deep green and clear Lake Achensee for a unique swimming or sailing experience. Thirty minutes to Innsbruck; one and-one-half hours to Italy or Munich.
