  This is a beautiful home right on Lake Dunlap. It is close to the attractions in New Braunfels and the outlet malls in San Marcos. The home is well maintained by the helpful owner. We comfortably slept 9 people with room to spare. I have recommend this property to my friends.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Excellent place to stay! The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (pots, pans, etc), and the grill and fireplace were ready to be used as well. Great, quiet location with beautiful views! The house fits 3 families comfortably(parents + 2-3 kids each). Our fourth family cancelled at the last minute, which turned out to be a good thing since a couple of the rooms are connected.

  This was a great place to just kick back and relax. The yard is huge and runs right up to the water. The house is very comfortable and has plenty of space for a big group. Everyone was happy and I am sure several of us will be returning again in the future.

  We reunited in this house for my sister's wedding in New braunfels and it was a great water front location. The house was very clean upon arrival and located close to many places of interest. The only thing I would note is that the floor plan is a bit strange. Upstairs, of the four bedrooms, three share one bathroom while the master bedroom has a very large bathroom and great views making it difficult if you are traveling in couples to provide equal accommodations for all parties. Also the downstairs bedroom and one of the upstairs bedrooms are sort of walk throughs to get in and out of the house although there is another entrance. The living room and kitchen are very spacious and provided a nice central area for all of our family to reunite. There were also many supplies provided like spices,sugar,laundry detergent etc which was a big plus.

  We rented this beautiful home on Lake Dunlap for my daughter's high school graduation. We had family in from Denver, Houston, and Austin. A total of 12 people stayed in the house and we had more than enough room! The house was PRISTINELY CLEAN when we arrived. The property is on a beautiful part of the lake with a pier. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and playing horseshoes in the pit in the back yard. I would reccomend this property again and again! Thank you for sharing it with my family!

  I rented this house towards the end of August 2011 for 12 girlfriends to get away from it all and celebrate a 40th birthday party. This house was exactly what we hoped for. It's not far off of 35 so it's convenient to shops and restaurants (although we rarely left!), is very well stocked (we ran out of some paper goods - but a group of women will do that) - the kitchen truly has everything you need unless you are making special meals that require a lot (all pots, dishes, even spices are already there), the inside was very clean, the view from both the main living floor and the deck was GORGEOUS, and the grounds are well maintained. At the end of a sweltering, rain free summer we expected brown. Brown grass, brown trees, brown leaves....but everything was still lush, and beautiful. Our only need from the lake was somewhere to float and it was perfect for that - just a short walk past a cute well and swing, not too busy, and very pretty. I would recommend this house to families, couples and most definitely girlfriends! We turned that place into Pecan Grove circa Ya Ya Sisterhood - and it was just exactly right. Thanks for the stay!

  THe pictures don't do it justice, this was by far the nicest house I have stayed at on the lake. The rooms are nice and lots of room and the vew from the living room is soooo nice. If you have the time and money it is PERFECT!!

  Thank you for a great place to stay! This house fit our extended families needs. House was clean, kitchen had great supplies and having a laundry room was very helpful. The only issue we had was that the description states sleeps 13 and well it does but one of the twins is a trundle bed and very hard to use...I wish this room had had two bunk-beds instead, would have made a great kids room. A gas grill would have been nice too instead of the charcoal one. We would definitely rent this place again!
