What a beautiful home! It's in a great and private location with a fantastic view of the mountains. A great home for 2-3 couples or for family with children, everthing is there for fun, just bring your clothing and food! We enjoyed the pool table, home theater system and wireless internet, all the comforts of home! Very reasonably priced. We can't wait to return to Bear Ridge! Thanks for allowing us into your wonderful home in the mountains!

I have found the paradise cabin!!! It was absolutely awesome, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We could not have asked for anything better. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and all the board games you could imagine. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay so much that we did not want to go home. Since we are city folks, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the views were spectacular. Everything that you could possibly need in the kitchen is already provided for you. Ray, the owner was so nice and accomodating. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful cabin. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our family and friends.

My husband and I traveled with our two boys (16 & 20). Our vacation actually started last Christmas, we never made it to the cabin because of an unbelievable snow storm that shut the roads down. We ended up staying in a local hotel for a couple of days and then traveled home. Ray and Sally were kind enough to let us try again and we had been looking forward to our extended weekend for months. Well, we made it up the mountain to the cabin and it's beautiful view. We had such a relaxing weekend. We hiked the area and enjoyed the hot tub many times. Love the porch swing especially when our sons would join us and play their guitars for us. The weather at the cabin our last two days there were filled with rain and wind from Tropical Storm Lee, but we were very happy in our comfy cabin in the mountain. It's nice to just get away and relax with no agenda. I recommend it highly. By the way, we love the the big comfy chair in the living room. We are looking forward to coming up again for Thanksgiving. Ray and Sally...thanks for sharing your home with us.
Owner response:We are very happy that all of expectatios were met. And look forward to your visit in November. We try to make our home as comfortable for our guests as we would like it to be. Ray and Sally

We had an enjoyable family (3 couples/4 kids) stay in this absolutely gorgeous Bear Ridge cabin in Hiawassee. Every day was a different adventure for us -- from sightseeing to hiking to tubing to the Georgia Mountain Fair to even seeing a Cabbage Patch Kid birth. This very clean, cozy mountain cabin, with a bedroom and bath on each level, is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything. The beds are comfortable beds, the Jacuzzi is toasty and the view from the awesome wrap-around porch is simply spectacular -- who could ask for anything more! Needless to say, we had a phenomenal week that flew by!

My family and I were totally impressed with the beauty located in HIawassee Ga. Our cabin was all that the previous renters expressed and more than what the owner revealed. The closeness to Ana Ruby Falls and other attractions was perfect. We enjoyed not only the surrounding mountain beauty but the conveniences of the cabin. The owner was more than helpful, the cabin is well decorated and clean, and the jacuzzi was great at a toasty 103 degrees with the snow blowing on us as the outside temperature fell to 29 degrees. Yes, we wanted to have a good time. It was nice to see some deer on Monday morning outside of our cabin hopping through the leaves. You will not be far from any major site seeing attraction. We did make it to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, however because of snow and ice on the road, we could not cut through the park to get to Gatlinburg. Overall, if you want to have a nice time with the family both indoors and out, you will very satisfied with this cabin located in Georgia.

What a wonderful cabin in Hiawassee! We rented this cabin to take all the instructors of our Children's theatre school in Atlanta on a weekend get away. The only complaint I heard was that the weekend went by too soon. We had a wonderful stay with plenty of space for everyone to do as they please. The kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful meals. The beds are so comfortable you don't want to leave them. We certainly plan to return to this wonderful secluded mountain retreat!!

Hi - We traveled with our 2 children (7 & 14) and we did not hear one "I'm bored" the whole vacation - which is amazing since we mainly stayed in the cabin. They had lots of fun games, pool table, and hot tub. We took a nature hike everyday. The views were outstanding. We did take a day trip to Atlanta mid-week which was about a 2 hour drive. We've had a delightful stay. Their home is so warm and welcoming with every convenience we could want. It's beautifully decorated and so very clean. We've had a joyful and relaxing week. I'd love to stay in this home all year long! Thank you for sharing your home with us! Cara & Erik

The cabin is simply wonderful! Pictures definately do NOT do it justice! The wrap around porch is a great way to start or end your day. Beds more than comfortable...didnt want to come home to ours!! Everything clean & pristine....no bothersome neighbors.....far enough off the beaten path, but still close enough to civilization if you want to go out to dinner or whatnot. My family had a great time & cant wait to return!
