The fully appointed kitchen has Bosch appliances, quality cookware, cherry countertops, open shelves, and European pottery. The cook will find it as practical as it is beautiful. A split plan for the bedrooms offers versatility. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, two bedroom upstairs. The downstairs bedrooms are separated by the main living area by a private hall with door to close it off from the main living areas - for added privacy. There is a full bathroom with roomy walk-in shower . A charming den welcomes you once upstairs. A wide hallway leads to two bedrooms and bath. The second floor master bedroom has a full bed with private waterview balcony. A spacious second bedroom has a pair of twin beds ( can be made into a king per request). The bathroom on this floor has a tub with shower. Crib and highchair are available per request as well. Sliding doors in the living, dining and downstairs master open to the back covered deck, where wicker furniture with cushioned seating offers a comfortable and shaded venue to enjoy the picturesque setting. Eggemoggin Reach offers popular sailing lanes, and you will be treated to a wide array of boat traffic, including the windjammer fleet out of Rockland, Camden and Bar Harbor, as well as local lobster boats. Down the steps of the porch and through the spruce tree lined path, you will reach your own private beach on Potato Cove. Along the way, you will find a small separate screen house, complete with table and seating. It is a perfect get-away to read, relax, have lunch, and enjoy the fresh sea air. The house has a versatile layout, easily accommodating families or groups who appreciate options that can provide added privacy, yet each with comparable qualities.
