Close to Bozeman, home of Montana State University and Museum of the Rockies, OUR FARM HOUSE vacation home rests in a magnificent rural setting with room to roam. This completely furnished country home boasts many amenities as well as rural charm.
Experience the atmosphere of an elegant turn-of-the-century country farm complete with horses, barn and correls. The lovely surrounding grounds include a productive country vegetable garden, fruit trees, geese and free-range chickens (wait until you taste the eggs!). A fully furnished kitchen will fulfill your every dining need when you elect to "eat in", and everything for your first breakfast on-site is supplied.
The residence boasts three lovely bedrooms reminiscent of the elegance of days gone by. A library/reading room separates the two second-floor bedrooms. Breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are visable from every window, both upstairs and down. Family heirlooms grace each room.
The one large, country bathroom is authentically furnished with the original bathtub, retrofitted, of course, with a shower for those who do not prefer to soak in the large bathtub. The house is open and light, and delightful surprises catch the eye in every room.
During your stay, visit our great-grandparents' homesteader's log cabin (located just across the garden on site) to experience an authentic taste of Montana during the late 1800's.
Boasting a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, OUR FARM HOUSE is centrally located in Yellowstone Country for blue ribbon trout fishing, kayaking and float trips in the Gallatin, Madison and Yellowstone Rivers. Easy access to Big Sky, Moonlight Basin and Bridger Ski Resorts. A gorgeous one and a half hour drive through the picturesque Gallatin Canyon to Yellowstone Park or through Paradise Valley to the Park's north entrance. And it's just minutes to the mountains! Public golf courses within short driving distances.
