"Nye Beach Overlook" is a spacious, well-equipped four bedroom, two and a half bathroom home on a quiet street in the heart of Nye Beach. Ocean views from kitchen, dining area, living room, and two bedrooms. Private hot tub with ocean view. Great for families, reunions, retreats, and groups of ten or fewer. Just a short walk to the beach, intriguing shops and terrific restaurants. Pet friendly.
Upstairs is a vaulted great room with gas fireplace, comfortable couches and arm chairs and a high definition TV. Large kitchen with eat-in counter for eight, plus dining table for ten. Wall of windows looking out to sea and down to Nye Beach shops. Also upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a King-size bed, one with a Queen-size.
Downstairs are two more bedrooms, each with a King-size bed. Master bedroom has its own bath. Doors from each bedroom lead directly out onto the spacious, glass enclosed private patio with barbeque area and hot tub. There is also a half bath, laundry area and a two-car garage downstairs.
You will love our location: Two minute walk to the heart of Nye Beach and the best ever chocolate chip cookies at Café Stephanie. Five minute walk to put your toes in the sand. Over a dozen eateries, the Performing Arts Center, Visual Arts Center and galleries all within a ten minute walk. Ten minute drive to the Bay Front and Yaquina Bay Lighthouse and State Park - or take the free shuttle.
Fifteen minute drive south to the Newport Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center and north to Yaquina Head Lighthouse and marine wildlife interpretive center.
There are two places to access the beach near Overlook. The Nye Beach Turnaround is the closest - just 3 blocks away, with picnic tables, a place to wash the sand off your feet and public bathrooms. The second is a few blocks further south, at Olive and Coast streets. This beach access has a long winding paved path down a bluff to the beach, some cool sculptures, public restrooms and a memorial to sailors lost at sea.
For you golfers, Agate Beach public golf course is just 15 minutes North and the beautiful course at Salishan is 30 minutes away.
Come to Nye Beach, where you can do anything or do nothing at all!
