We had a girls weekend at the cabin and enjoyed our time there. Breath of Fresh Air cabin was clean, beautifully decorated and very accomodating for what we needed. The hot tub was very relaxing for all of us after a day of zip lining at Fire Wire Zipline and shopping at downtown Blueridge. Perfect weekend getaway and the price was right. Hope to go again. Thank you!

We had a great time at Breath of Fresh Air. The cabin is beautifully decorated and well kept.The beds are very comfortable. Daren was always helpful with any questions we had and quick to respond.. One of the best parts was sitting in the rocking chairs on the large porch (felt like we were perched up in the trees).

My wife and I were looking for a romantic getaway for our 5 year anniversary, but unfortunately did not have a lot of time to travel. We quickly realized that the mountains were the place to go (especially since we only live 2 hrs from them). We found a "Breath of Fresh Air" literally. The cabin is perched at the top of a hill on a private gravel road. When we saw the cabin we were awstruck, it was much larger than we expected. The cabin has a large and wide porch with rocking chairs and ceiling fans, and if you keep walking around the corner you'll find the hot tub. However the best was yet to come, inside the cabin is everything you would expect to find deep in the mountains. The decor was fantastic and the rooms were spacious. The cabin was so peaceful and relaxing that we did not want to leave. For those of you who want to get away from it all, I recommend that you step back and take in a "Breath of Fresh Air".

Wow is all I can say. After driving 10 hours to get to Blue Ridge we could not wait to get to the cabin and once there we were so very happy with our choice to stay at Breath of Fresh Air. The cabin is spotless and so nicely decorated. You immediately feel comfy and cozy relaxing in front of the beautiful stone fireplace or on one of the couches. The kitchen has everything that you would need, and the bedrooms were super comfortable. Both my kids said they liked the beds here better than their own at home! The loft was awesome for my husband and I and I loved the little sitting area there as well for reading or just looking out the window. We used the jacuzzi just about every night and it was the perfect end to each day as we did a lot of driving to different sights each day. We also used the fire pit one night to roast marshmellows and tell ghost stories on a perfect star-filled night. My kids loved it! We visited Long Creek Falls, Amicolola Falls State Park, the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, went on a Wild Cave tour in Chattanooga Tenn (which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little different). And we also visited downtown Blue Ridge to walk the shops and have lunch. It was an awesome spring break getaway for us and I would highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking to visit the area. You will not be disappointed. Daren was most helpful through the whole rental process and answered any questions we had. Thanks Daren for sharing your wonderful cabin with us!

My wife and I have been renting cabins in the Northwest Georgia area for years. Of all the cabins we have stayed this was the best mountain experience. The cabins craftsmanship is unique inside and out and is a very comfortable place to stay. I would recommend staying at "Breath of Fresh Air" to anyone who wants to have a true mountain experience

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this cabin on our honeymoon! The scenery is beautiful and it is soo peaceful there. This was our first time ever in a log cabin in the mountains. First great experience! We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who just needs to get away from society and all the hassles of life. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable! There is wildlife that moves around in nighttime. And they jacuzzi is great!

My fiance and I and two kids (ages 9 and 13) stayed in this cabin for 4 nights. It was our first trip to Georgia and it was amazing. This cabin was perfect, very clean and inviting. The hot tub was great as well at the firepit. We did some hiking and had some great BBQ at Poolee's in Ellijay. We had some other things in mind but wanted to just enjoy the cabin and the outdoors instead. Very enjoyable! Thanks again to the Rays

My girlfriends and I have been taking our "girl trips" for almost 15 years, and we have stayed in many cabins. Breath of Fresh Air was one of the best we have ever rented. It was so clean and had such a warm, homey feeling. We even saw a bear cub and it's mama on our way in to the cabin! Daren was most responsive to any questions we had. We couldn't have chosen anything better.

My Girls Night Out group rented this cabin so we could go white water rafting. We could not have found a better deal. The cabin was immaculate, well stocked, nicely furnished. I was surprised to learn that it has been there since 2005 since it looked like we were the some of the first to visit. Not only was the cabin nice but so was the owner. He answered all my email's quickly and was pleasent to deal with. We will definately be back.

Our family just returned from a wonderful vacation at "Breath of Fresh Air". The cabin encompassed everything we desire in a mountain cabin: cleanliness, a decor that was right out of a magazine, good location with a lot of things to do in the vicinity and just good ole' serenity!. Our boys explored every inch of the terrain , and would both hands down agree that the loft is "the coolest" part of the cabin- it was a great experience for us, and we will always be grateful that the Rays offer the best value for one of the nicest cabins we've ever stayed at. The girls weekend was wonderful and the cabin is beautiful and looked just like the pictures. It has everything you will need for your stay. Very homey feeling and great location to rafting, zip lining and many other activities. We ate at the outpost restaurant after rafting and met some fantastic people that worked for the outpost. We grilled out and lounged in the hot tub when we got back from our daily excursions. We will definantely come back to this property for another get away. Daren was very thorough in directions to the cabin , rafting etc. Enjoyed by all....

We spent 2 nights in this cabin over Memorial Day. It was our first stay in the North Georgia mountains. It was a great experience! The cabin was immaculate (cleaner than the house I came back home to!). It is completely equipped - not one thing did we need that wasn't there. Daren called us the first night to make sure we found it and to see if we needed anything. Just the right amount of attention from a friendly owner. We knew we could call him if we needed anything - but we didn't! The hot tub is awesome and we spent lots of time there. We stayed upstairs in the loft bedroom and it was great. We had originally hoped for a mountain view - this is a view of the lush canopy - but we knew we weren't paying for a mountain view and any disappointment over that was quickly cured by the privacy of the well furnished cabin. The only other feedback I would give is that it doesn't seem necessary to have a motion detected security light by the hot tub! This property is well worth the nightly cost and the owner is easy to work with. We are looking at the calendar for a return visit! Thank you, Daren, for making this wonderful location available as a rental!

We had a great time at Daren & Michelle's cabin. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy! The fireplace and firepit was awesome for the chilly nights and made getting out of the hot tub soaking wet much more comfortable! Daren and Michelle are a very nice couple and their hospitality and kindness was a plus to our short vacation away from the city...They even picked my son-in-law and myself up on the road and brought us back to the cabin in thier mule when we finished our trout fishing adventure! We will return asap!!!!!

The cabin was absolutely pertect! It was cazy, comfortable and clean. My husband and I desperately needed time away from the stresses of life and this place suceeded our expectations. There was plenty to do in the area and the best part was coming back and relaxing in the hot tub, grilling some great food and sitting by the fireplace. It was so peaceful and quiet - exactly what we needed!

My husband and I celebrated our New Year and our anniversary in this beautiful cabin. We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous, clean, warm, and inviting cabin. It was so comfortable, I felt like I was at my own personal home-away-from-home! This was our first snow experience and we didn't really know what to expect. We had to get help from Darren bringing our belongings to the mountain because our vehicle was not prepared for the snow or the ice. I didn't even have to ask for help. Darren offered before I could even ask!! Darren was such a great help and was a wonderful person. He is very friendly, honest, and did I mention friendly. This is a beautiful cabin and a great quiet area to relax, meet new friends, or ride four wheelers. Every single person we encountered on this trip on Cherry Log Mountain were absolutely delightful. We will be back for a visit to Darren's cabin and next time we'll be prepared with snow tires!!! Thanks for everything Darren. You and your cabin are AMAZING!!!

This was our second time to the Blue Rdidge area and our first time at A Breath of Fresh Air Cabin, and we definitely found our new home away from home at this cabin. The cabin is very inviting, the beds comfortable and the fireplace inside was very cozy and warm. We wanted a White Christmas and somehow Darren and Michelle made it happen for us - it was a winter wonderland outside - absolutely beautiful - and inside the cabin was decorated so tastefully for the holidays - there is nothing we would have changed during our stay! Darren, Michelle and Cousin Steve were great! When we were unable to leave the cabin due to the snow and ice on the roads, they managed to get some supplies up to us that we were in need of even though it was very dark with snow everywhere and freezing cold - they even cheked on us a couple of times to make sure we were ok. Leaving the cabin was quite a challange for us Floridaian's with all the snow and ice - but Darren and Steve again were there to our rescue and got us down and on our way with no issues. We cannot thank you Darren Michelle and Steve enough for such a great time, we feel like we have new friends in Ga! We are making our plans for 2 visits back next year!

Thank you so much for inviting our family into your beautifully warm and welcoming cabin. We could not have asked for more! This cabin far exceeded my expectations...even after reading all of the other amazing reviews!!! It was easy to forget that we were actually paying guests. You have obviously put so much care and consideration into this place that we instantly felt welcome and at home. I loved that we were far enough from town that we had the privacy and peace and quiet that we were looking for, but were able to quickly and easily drive into Blue Ridge each and every day and enjoy all of the wonderful things that are offered there. Anyone with two small children knows what a blessing this is. Everything was readily available from linens/bathroom ammenities to kitchen supplies. I simply brought the recommended groceries/cooking spices and seasonings and was able to cook meals for my family just like I was at home. It was so wonderful not to have to bring all of the kitchen accessories, supplies, and dishes from home. Everything from cookware and measuring cups to wine glasses and a bottle opener. Anyone looking for the perfect getaway: This is it!!! We searched and searched before stumbling upon Breathe of Fresh Air. The rates are amazing and truly unbeatable, not to mention the professional courtesy extended by the owner. My family is looking forward to making this an annual tradition!!!

We loved staying here! The cabin is tastefully decorated, everything was very comfy and cozy just like home! The Rays are wonderful hosts! If you are visiting this area of Georgia, I highly recommend you stay at this cabin! It's a short drive to the surrounding towns, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We hope to come back soon!

This is our fifth trip to the area and our fifth cabin through a variety of agencies, friends and VRBO. This cabin was by far the best value and one of the best stays yet. The location is great, the directions were perfect and we arrived to find the cabin clean and well prepared for us. The fire pit was perfectly set up to make campfires and smores safely (and easily!). The hot tub was fun for kids and adults and the peace of the surrounding woods was the balm that all of our hectic spirits needed. Darren was not only easy to deal with, but was proactive and made us feel welcome as guests. I cannot recommend this cabin highly enough.

The cabin was wonderful! It was much nicer than we expected and the price was very reasonable. Our teenage grandaughters loved having the loft all to themselves and being able to keep in touch with boyfriends through the internet on our laptop. My daughter and I stayed at the Ray cabin for a last minute weekend getaway. The owner had a cancellation and was able to rent it to us. Wow were we lucky! The cabin was beautiful and clean. As soon as we walked into the cabin it felt like a home and not just a rental property. The cabin has everything that you could need and more. The bedrooms are spacious, the loft with the reading nook is cozy,the beds are comfortable, the hot tub was large and very clean, the fire pit in the yard has lighting around the path so you can get back up to the cabin without tripping the owners attention to detail is amazing! This is a cabin that you can tell the owners take pride in and take care of everything. The night me and my daughter arrived it was storming pretty badly due to the hot and humid weather. We were in the cabin for about 30 min. when the phone rang, it was the owner calling to make sure we got in safely because he knew it was just the two of us traveling. The owners were very considerate and helpful making sure my daughter and I were safe and that we had a great time! We will be back often. Thank You for a GREAT weekend!

We arrived at this beautiful, secluded cabin two married couples in dire need of a long weekend away (Kids and jobs). Every second we spent there was wonderful from our mornings sitting on the front porch rocking in the rocking chairs having coffee to the late evenings in the hot tub. The loft is beatiful and the other two bedrooms were very comf'ortable. This cabin is beautiful and has everything. After having stayed in other vacation rental cabins before, we packed everything we could think of only this time we packed too much, alot of what we brought was already there. As soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. Daren, your directions to the cabin were great and thank you for taking the time to give us directions from Atlanta for our friends. Again, we thank you and would recommend this cabin to everyone. We will definitely stay again.

A delightfully planned excursion by my wife was very relaxing and allowed me to indulge with some time plying the Toccoa river to fool some piscatorial inhabitants. Unfortunately the finny friends could not be fooled. But anyone considering a cabin rental in the Blue Ridge area would be foolish to pass on this very well appointed residence. Great furnishings and the nightly soak was a pleasant night cap. The owner's are ever so friendly. Hope we will be able to stay there again soon.

One of the best vacations ever. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Whether lounging in the hot tub watching the stars or sitting down at the fire pit listening to the sounds of nature just beyond sight. The surrounding scenery is incredible and perfect for a getaway from the city life. The location is also useful; we were able to do all of the activities and adventures on our wish list without driving more than 30 minutes. Golf, hiking, horseback riding, shopping, all within a few miles, and then solitude and natural beauty back at home base. Why would you stay in a crummy motel?

I packed an additional suitcase of “stuff” because you never know what you may need, but we could have left it at home! From the colander to the corkscrew, from the coffee mugs to the cutting boards, from the hand mixer to the mixing bowls, this cabin had it all!One of our favorite memories was sipping our favorite wine out of the beautiful glasses stocked in the kitchen while gazing among the brilliant stars which illuminated the midnight sky. All while relaxing in the comfy rockers nestled close to a toasty warm fire in the upscale fire pit on the sprawling copper-capped deck. It was the epitome of relaxation and the ideal setting for a much needed retreat. Our romantic getaway was made perfect by your attention to detail and going above and beyond to assure the best stay possible. We cannot thank you enough for your super speedy response when we needed anything and giving us your best every time. We really enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful cabin and the owners are very nice and easy to work with. We had a relaxing time. Our family hopes to visit again. We would highly recommend this cabin if you are considering this area.

You could not ask for more with this cabin! It is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Daren and Michelle are excellent owners and you could not ask for two nicer people to rent from. If you are considering a trip to this area - this definately needs to be your first choice! Thank you Daren and Michelle for a wonderful, snow bound, Valentine's weekend! You guys are the best!

I took my mother to the cabin for her birthday. I could not have been more pleased with the cabin! It was immaculate, very comfortable,& warm feeling. The owners bent over backwards to make our visit positive. I can't say enough about how wonderful our weekend was in the cabin. Thanks to the gracious owners. I would recommend this cabin to everyone. When my family and I first lay foot in the cabin, we immediately fell in love with it. It is spacious and cozy. THIS CABIN IS THE BEST AROUND. WE STAYED HERE FOR NEW YEAR'S IN 2008. NOT ONLY IS THIS CABIN VERY INVITING IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND ACCESSABLE TO ANYTHING YOU MAY POSSIBLY WANT. THE VIEW IS UNBELIEVABLE AND AT NIGHT THE HOT TUB IS A GREAT FEATURE!!! THE DECORE OF THE CABIN IS SO MAGNIFICENT YOU FEEL LIKE STAYING INSIDE FOR EVER. DAREN AND MICHELLE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THIS CABIN. YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE TO UNDERSTAND! I DONT KNOW BUT IT IS ALMOST LIKE I AM FAMILY WHEN I STAY HERE DUE TO THE RAY'S HOSPITALITY. THEY ARE THERE FOR ANY NEED POSSIBLE. WHAT A GREAT "BREATH OF FRESH AIR" IT WAS!!!!!
