Property description

This lovely Provencal style house benefits from a charming traditional feel and comes complete with modern amenities including air-conditioning in the bedrooms and a fully fitted, well equipped kitchen. The open plan living area leads directly onto the largest terrace so you can enjoy the benefits of traditional indoor/outdoor living with the modern touch.

The delightful master bedroom with its wooden shutters, terrace and en suite bathroom is situated on the ground floor.The first floor houses two further bedrooms, one of which has its own terrace - perfect for private sunbathing and with stunning views of St. Paul de Vence. The basement area has a small apartment (can sleep 2 guests), separate laundry and playroom.

The well maintained garden with its beautiful pool surrounds the house on three sides. It was designed in a Japanese style with palm trees, grape vines, fig and fruit trees. Jasmine grows along the two terraces which are ideal for outdoor eating and have retractable awnings to provide shade from the midday sun. The house is protected by a linked alarm system and electric gate.

There are golf courses nearby but a particularly nice one in Mougins which is about 40 minutes drive away. The ski slopes at Isola are only 1 hour's drive away.

We have many maps and guide books in the house as well as a list of all the local restaurants. There are books in the basement and we invite guests to leave their paperbacks for our next visitors. There is white china and cutlery for 8 people although the house sleeps 6 comfortably. Extra accommodation can be provided in the studio and the games room in the basement. A 25% prepayment of rent will be required before a booking can be confirmed.The balance of the rental will be payable eight weeks before the commencement date. If the tenancy is cancelled by the tenant at least two weeks before commencement and is re let by the landlord within that period the tenant will be credited with the sum paid by the new tenant (less 25%)

If 8 persons occupy the villa (two utilising the studio flat) a further weekly sum of Euro 100 will be paid for each additional person.The maximum no. (couchage) of tenants is 8

Prices exclude compulsory cleaning and laundry charge of E 100 which will be payable by the tenant.

The house is located 20 minutes from Nice airport, up in the beautiful hills of St Paul de Vence. From the house you can see stunning panoramic views of the ancient village of St. Paul. La Colle itself is a quiet, unspoilt village with local shops and cafes. There are excellent restaurants, art galleries and tennis courts are also available to play on. There are some lovely walks and bike tracks in the surrounding area and bikes can be hired however a car is recommended, for large food shops and trips further afield.
